The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Monopoli. I had a single room and there was only one small window that was very high up and looked into a glass-enclosed patio, so very little natural light. There was air conditioning which was nice to have and it worked well, but you couldn't adjust it at all, so it was either high or off.

The location is good, centrally located but can be noisy at night. The terrace is nice. The building is old so understandably there are things they can’t control, like soundproofing, size of bathroom etc. although they can make the doors slam less as to not be awakened by guests at late hours of the night. No Air conditioning in the lobby, which can be brutal checking in or checking out if there’s a wait. However the biggest problem we had was the disgusting bathroom shower that had mold in it. When I raised the issue to the front desk, they tried to explain it away. They ended up cleaning some of it, but at no point was there any compensation or consolation gesture to make up for the experience. When I raised the issue again, and asked for a manager I was told the manager wasn’t there at the time and that was it. The staff had no authority to offer like a drink or food voucher to their own restaurant, and they never bothered to ask the manager who was never there during our 3 day stay (still don’t understand why the manager was not contacted by phone) For the price per night, it’s definitely not worth the value to experience the property grounds or the staff handling of the situation. It was a really disappointing experience.

The hotel staff is superb. They are very helpful and service. It’s a safe location. They are accommodating. The free breakfast is a plus. It’s a great location if you want to stay in the old town. There is street parking nearby in a parking lot, not too far. Very walkable lots of restaurants and shops around. Quick 15 min walk to the train station. …

The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. We were able to check in early with a large group and very appreciative of the hotel’s willingness to allow us to do so. They even had a staffer meet us in the parking lots with a tuk-tuk to move our luggage. The location was great for us and the breakfast buffet and staff were great! The parking was a little tricky to establish, and was a bit of a distance to get to.

Very good choices. They set your table with your room number. We booked a standard room and it was small even for EU standards. So, no space for luggage. So upgrade and you will find a larger room.

The location was fabulous, the staff was nice and attentive When we arrived, we discovered the shuttle was down so my husband had to walk about a half a mile from the free parking lot to the hotel in the summer heat. Also, little things bothered me… The kleenex dispenser was almost out, the prior guest’s towel was still hanging in the room, and the soap dispenser did not work, but when we called these things out to the staff, they did their best to fix it immediately.

What a wonderful hotel! Great location, great property and great staff. A special shoutout to Vito for his help with parking, luggage and checkin. We stayed here on our last day in Puglia and my only disappointment was that we did not spend more time. The hotel is wonderful and Monopoli is a gem!! Absolutely nothing!

The location is convenient to everything. Everything is within walking distance to where we wanted to see. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially Franco who helped us with our check in and gave us an orientation of the town , provided with great restaurant recommendations and also provided us information on the best way to get to another town . He even helped us secure a reservation from one of the popular restaurant in town. The hotel is clean and our room is very spacious with high ceilings . It's right in the center of the piazza so, it can be noisy especially at night. The stand -in shower in our room wasn't ideal and poorly designed causing water leaks and splashing into the rest of the bathroom. We ended up using most of the towels to dry the bathroom floor.

The staff was wonderful. They went out of their way to be accommodating to our requests. The location could not have been any better. The rooms were comfortable and sparkling clean. Breakfast was included and was delicious. A special shout out to Vito who assisted us in trying to get our car into a garage space, picked us up with all of our luggage in the hotel tuk tuk and then helped us again when we checked out. nothing.

The location was perfect. The hotel sits on Monopoli's main square, and it's within walking distance of dozens of shops, restaurants, and cafes. We had an upgraded room, and it was totally worth it. The balcony overlooking the plaza was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying a morning coffee, people watching, and relaxing. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast, which was included in our package, was delicious and had a lot of variety. The staff was friendly and professional, and promptly responded to our questions and requests before and during our stay. We especially want to single out and express our sincerest thanks to Marilena and Franco. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We would definitely stay there again! Parking was a challenge. We had a rental car, and although we visited during the off-season, street parking was not easy to find. The parking lot across the street from the hotel is for residents only, so we opted to pay the 30 euro per day fee to park in the hotel's garage. The walk from the hotel to the garage was long, and the parking inside the garage was challenging, even for our small rental car. There are several columns that you have to negotiate inside the garage before you can access the hotel's two reserved spots in the back. There are maybe 10 spots total in the garage. Luckily, it was empty during our stay. Had it been full, we don't know how we could have gotten our vehicle in and out.

Outstanding location. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Beds very comfortable.

Very nice accommodation I was told parking between blue lines is free until March! Then I got a 40 Euro ticket ?

Nice place. I inquired about parking multiple times. The info I received was " no problem, we can meet you and help with luggage. Or we can have a Tuk tuk pick you up. It was raining, dark after 8pm. Very hard to see the parking spots. Blue or white. No-one came to help with luggage. Tuk tuk not available. We arrived without dinner. By the time we got back to the hotel they said : the restaurant is closed and made no effort to help us with a snack. Gave us isolated room facing the restaurants and bars. Turned off AC because it was in the 60's. our room did not get cool fresh air from outside. see above

Bed was somewhat small. But okay for a solo traveler. May have been my room type.

Location is wonderful with parking a short walk away (we had a rental car). The interior is so interesting with the antiquity of the architecture. On shoulder seasons the temperatures can vary. I would like to decide if I want air conditioning or heat instead of it being one or the other. Opening a window doesn’t help because there is no cross ventilation. We were glad to borrow the hotel fan. That’s what got us through.

Location was great a bit noisy in the early mornings. Neighbors across the palazzo need to be quieter when they speak. Too hot in our room no air conditioning. We did not sleep well. Needed different pillows too.

Breakfast was not good. Stale croissant and we were never offered opportunity to order a coffee. Selections overall was lacking vs other properties we stayed at along our trip in Puglia.
