Villa Maria Pia - Boutique B&B & Breakfast Experience

We loved the relaxing atmosphere and the various outside sitting areas. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. Amenities were great, use of kitchen was so nice. The turtles in the garden were fun to keep track of. We did not have a car so If you don’t like walking, this is a bit farther from town than others, but for us..perfect.

Very clean and comfortable room! Kettle with tea options and fridge with cold water in the room. Lovely courtyard. Nice shared space kitchen for the guests with coffee and tea too. Amazing breakfast at owner’s cafe…worth the walk! Convenient to walk historic area. Nice to have parking available

The Staff was wonderful! We have never been greeted in such a warm and cozy way. The apartament is in calm location but not far from the centre. The landlord owns a delightful bakery, looking even more dreamy in winter season. We would be grateful if we could come back in future to have an opportunity to get to know this beautiful city in Summer.

Room is beautiful and spotlessly clean! Love the aesthetic both of the room and the courtyard area. B&B is a little bit of a walk from town but nothing too far. Breakfast is AMAZING! It is at a cafe in town (same owners) and it is great - juice, coffee, choice of toping on toast and a pastry! I am celiac and the owner went above and beyond - giving me both gluten-free toast AND a gluten-free pastry. We loved this place. Had to wait a few mins for anyone to arrive to the desk to check us in despite knocking multiple times.

Vito (owner) was really friendly and caring. The room is wonderful, spacious, comfortable and has a big balcony. The external area of the house is also gorgeous, there are some tables and chairs to relax. There was also some beach umbrella available for the guests (which I didn't use but I liked to see they offer that). The breakfast was DELICIOUS, however, it's not in the same location. You have to walk 10-15 minutes to reach the breakfast restaurant. On Sunday they are closed so they offered us the breakfast in another location which was also good. The parking is right in front of the house (although a bit small). The included breakfast is in a different location (10-15 minutes on foot), which is not very practical (although the breakfast was DELICIOUS, probably the best I had in Italy).

Just 10 minutes walk from city center in a quiet area. Top floor room has spacious terrace. Everything was clean and smelling fresh, cotton linen finally. Staff is very friendly and they own a bar in the center that serves real breakfast, not some toast and jam from the store, if you pick an accommodation with breakfast. We had a really pleasant rest here and will come back again definitely!

Our stay at B&B Villa Maria Pia was delightful and worth recommending. It is the perfect place for a comfortable stay and an excellent base for exploring the area. The room we stayed in was cozy, clean, and beautifully finished, making our stay extremely comfortable. The interiors are designed with great attention to detail, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. The surroundings of the property also deserve special mention – the charming patio, comfortable seating under umbrellas, and well-maintained greenery make it a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The free parking in designated spots is a huge advantage, especially for those traveling by car. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome. The service was top-notch, which further enhanced our overall experience. The breakfasts at the restaurant were delicious and well-balanced, making them a perfect way to start a day full of adventures. The restaurant is located in the heart of Monopoli, and the morning walk to breakfast was refreshing and enjoyable. It is also worth visiting the restaurant for lunch or dinner, as the food is of high quality and expertly prepared. In conclusion, B&B Villa Maria Pia is a fantastic place for both short and long stays. Comfortable conditions, a welcoming atmosphere, and a great location make it a destination we would love to return to. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this apartment. Peaceful neighbourhood. Around 10-12 minutes to the city centre. Wonderful terrace. Very clean. Hospitable hosts. Breakfasts in atmospheric cafeteria in the city centre.

Exceptional

Cozy, clean, and comfortable stay. Responsive host. Great breakfast. Free parking on site. Superb stay a little away from the crowded beach area. Not a con- but a fair observation: The host also owns this cute little cafe where breakfast is provided every morning. While the menu selection was amazing, you can only select a few items as part of the included breakfast. We of course ordered additional desserts because everything was freshly baked!!

The apartment is located in a quiet part of town, close to the center, the sea, the railroad station (all within a distance of about 1 km - walking about 15 minutes). For those who have a car - the best location, because the apartment is in a quiet location and has - and this is very important - private parking spaces. The equipment of the apartment is excellent - there is everything you need. In addition, there is a kitchen, fully equipped. For breakfast you have to walk about 15 minutes :) They serve toast or excellent fried eggs with lettuce and bacon on delicious bread. Plus the best coffee, croisant and freshly squeezed orange juice in Monopoli. I felt safe and taken care of by the owner.

Convenient location if you have a car! Checked in by the host which was lovely and the breakfast included was great!
