The hotel is perfectly located for Mont Saint Michel, with the free courtesy bus to the island departing/arriving just outside of the hotel. The temperature on our arrival was high 30s centigrade but the air-conditioning in our bedroom was going full blast and the room was most pleasantly cold. Great! A good continental breakfast with some hot food choices Nothing really. It was ideal for a couple of days stay.

We liked that room options had a double and a twin. That was perfect for our family and saved us from having to buy an extra room. It really was the reason we chose this hotel. We were also thankful that the hotel could store our luggage for us when we arrived early in the day. The proximity to the shuttle was also unbeatable! Not having an elevator and having to use unsteady stairs was not ideal in the middle of a heat wave for the older people in our group. Breakfast was also quite more than other places we had stayed. It would have been nice if the lobby was air conditioned and if the porch upstairs would have been swept off so that we could use it without getting dirty.

Breakfast over-priced

I really liked the breakfast and location. The bedroom and bathroom was comfortable. The bus to Mount Saint Michel stopped close to the hotel and if you prefer to walk it is a reasonable distance. In the evening we had a nice stroll to see the sunset and in the morning we got the free city bus. There aren't many dinner options after 10:00 pm around the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the shuttle buses to the Mont Saint Michel. It also has an excellent restaurant and a really nice breakfast buffet. N/a

A very comfortable hotel which is well located for visiting Mont St Michel. Staff very helpful in telling us about parking and how to use the shuttle bus.

The front desk staff was very patient and helpful with our inquiries on how to get from one point to another. The location was great as the bus stop was is just right across. Our room was spacious. The breakfast choice was also very good. nothing

Location was ideal for exploring Mont Saint Michel since it was right next to the bus stop. The room and bathroom were clean. I wish the mini fridge was a bit bigger since it could only fit drinks and not takeout boxes. I also wish there was an option for coffee that wasn't instant.

Did not have one

The rooms, facilities, and overall cleanliness met expectations, and everything was well maintained. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would gladly stay here again and recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Great location with shuttle to go to Mont St Michele literally outside the hotel! Bus 2, from Ponterson Rail Station to hotel was also right outside the door. Gift shop was across the street, restaurants were next door and across the street. Good food; prices could have been better.. Clean hotel with friendly staff. We would definitely come back to the hotel again! Decent rooms with adequate amenities. Good food; prices could have been better. Improvement could be to have a pharmacy in town. Not convenient to walk 7 miles to get allergy medicine. Place is in the country, which is beautiful, but would be helpful to have a shuttle to Ponterson or a bus that runs more frequently. No elevator and no view of the ocean from the hotel Odd to have a toilet literally in a closet.

Location Hard to navigate inside the hotel.

Easy access to the Abbey. Parking was important.

The location, facilities & breakfast

The hotel was perfectly located for visiting Mont St. Michel. The shuttles stopped right at the hotel for going to or coming from the mount. We did not have breakfast, but did have dinner at the hotel restaurant (reservations required) and it was excellent. The room exceeded our expectations - we were in the main building facing the street and it was super quiet because of how the room is laid out. We spent 3.5 weeks in France and oddly this was one of our best stays. It was located such that we were able to do a side trip to St. Malo one day. Getting through the extra layer of restricted traffic for the area was actually not bad - the hotel did a great job of communicating with us before arrival and during if we decided to drive out of the area. It was the best TV reception and choices we had during our entire trip. We'd stay again! Coffee in the lobby would have been nice since we are not breakfast eaters and going to the hotel restaurant to just get coffee was a bit of a hassle (especially when the host/hostess was befuddled by just wanting coffee).
