Hotel La Terrazza di Montepulciano

Warm welcome, cute rooms, comfortable bed, great location. Nothing. Everything was great.

Great location in the very center, amazing breakfast on a beautiful terrace, super friendly and welcoming hosts, clear instructions for the nearby parking, comfortable room. We loved it all! Grazie mille!

Location Poor directions, extremely difficult parking, having to carry luggage up multiple steep hills to reach hotel and then navigate multiple stairs to get to room. Staff was unwilling to help with luggage. Found out Breakfast started at 8:00 am the morning we left which was too late for us.

Since the moment Roberto, the owner opens the door, it makes you feel like a movie star. The location is excellent, right at the entrance to the city and close by to every point of interest. The actual property is amazing, every single corner is like a movie set, it makes you feel like you are back in time but with the comfort of today. Roberto, Victoria and theirs two chihuahuas live inside the property so they are at hand reach if anything is needed. And the included breakfast is served by them with all the personal attention given to any detail. Roberto himself sat with us to answer all my question about the property. He is kind of personage with a very peculiar mannerism that makes you feel a very important person. Nothing can’t be said in this regards. To me, my stay was perfect.

The breakfast was to much bread and not many options...

The lady, whose name I unfortunately can’t recall, was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was very spacious and impeccably clean. During breakfast, what seemed to be the owner of the hotel came to our table and was incredibly entertaining. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not really match my personal taste, but this is a subjective matter and may differ from one person to another.

Good location but hard to find parking Location

The parking instructions for the car were very difficult. Because the owners do not speak English it was really hard to navigate

Roberto and Victoria are great ! Felt like home

The proprietor proved to be helpful beyond measure. We had difficulty identifying the correct parking lot level, and he sent someone to pick us up at the parking garage. In the morning, he had someone take us to put our luggage in our car & then deliver us to the Grande Plaza. I felt this was service of the most excellent level. Do think it would be better if parking lot location identified via a pin or some more efficient manner. The breakfast offered was typical Italian and certainly generous and served so promptly. As it was a rather blustery night, it was nice to walk down the back steps of the hotel and find 2 restaurants within 10 feet of the door. The double room had a timer on the heat; and, unfortunately, in my case, I need cold to sleep; so it was a bit of a problem; most especially as there was no option for opening a window. There was a ceiling fan but not particularly helpful. I am just overly sensitive to warm temperature in a hotel room, so this is a personal preference.

The hotel is unique. The owners were very attentive and the breakfast was great! The location is perfect, close to the garage. Montepulciano is a very nice city. I hope to come back soon. It’s not a fancy place but you feel like family.

The property was fantastic, clean, comfortable Roberto was an outstanding host, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. He gave great local recommendations, which made our stay smooth and enjoyable. We truly had a wonderful experience and would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting.

The location is awesome - middle of old city. The hosting couple is wonderful. Be aware that you have to carry your luggage uphill quite a bit - repack a small overnight bag and leave suitcase in car. Awesome breakfast. A great place to explore the region for a day No air condition in room in a heatwave. Fan helped so we slept OK but be aware.

Roberto was Awesome. Made us feel like family. He was so welcoming and gave us great suggestions for restaurants. Breakfast was awesome too

Everything about this place was nice. The hosts, the rooms, the location. Great restaurants close by. I personally had a hard time finding the place. But that was all on me.

Cute place with great staff Tough to walk to with your luggage

Nice room and facilities. Appreciated advice from the owner to learn more about the town and restaurants. Great location to many sites and shops.
