Holiday Inn Express Monterey-Cannery Row by IHG

Great great staff! The property has a boutique like atmosphere very suitable for the Monterey Cannery Row. Walking distance to shops and restaurants is a real plus. Love the courtyard in the center of property. Only downside to this property is parking can get tight!

Great location, super close to everything you need. Aquarium, food, bike path, beach/ocean. The room was comfortable. Free self serve breakfast (eggs, sausage, pancakes, and more, etc) and the free parking was a really nice perk. Staff was nice. Other reviews complained about the road noise but it didn’t bother us at all. Traveled with infant and it was a pleasant stay.

Property was centralized to shops and waterfront.

Coffee was great, which is unusual for a hotel :) Walking distance to everything!

The large room. It was larger than I thought it would be, plus having a pullout bed in the couch was a plus. I also liked the free breakfast each morning. The price could have been better. We overpaid on the price due to coming during Monterey Car Week. I felt we overpaid on the price, but all in all we were happy with the facilites.

Had everything we needed for our 1 night stay. Great location and staff were lovely. Breakfast could have had a better selection but was still good.

This was a great hotel. The lady working the check- in desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean. The free parking is worth its weight in gold! I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was clean and ready when we arrived, receptionist were friendly. Cleaning staff were great.

Great place!

La locación Cuando llegue me querían cobrar la reserva pese haber preparado la misma. Por otra parte el segundo piso es una culebra de escaleras de subida y bajada, viaje con mis hijos y varias maletas y el ascensor no sirve de nada ya que llegas al piso dos y debes bajar escaleras y luego subir otras escaleras para llegar a la habitación. Increíble

Good

Lots of shopping and good food within walking distance. I loved all the seals around the marina. There are stairs on some of the floors. If you dont want to have to go up and down a few stairs confirm what floor you are on and if you do or dont have stairs.

The room location was horrible. All night we heard was birds and cars passing through. Did not sleep well, third floor rooms are the worst as they wrap around the outside of hotel were the streets are.

Superb

We had suite with two double beds and a pull-out queen. The room and common areas of the hotel were recently renovated and clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, and it was a 2 min walk down to some of the areas along the Monterrey waterfront. Two complaints made it less than a 5 rating: 1) we got in late and there was almost no parking available. We got the last very tight space in the parking garage. 2) the pull out bed was very loud, meaning it creaked every time one of our kids moved.

Great location, good breakfast , easy parking, tea and coffee available. Definitely would recommend
