The Plaza is a beautiful Hotel; the room service food was excellent and the spa was great. It is on the water and next to cannery row and the aquarium. We loved it and will be back!!!

The rooms were very clean staff was helpful valet was very efficient would highly recommend staying here again .

The downside was that there was no self parking available- there was only valet parking.

My husband and I were mesmerized by the sound of the ocean, we slept with the patio doors open. We went August 20, 2026 and totally enjoyed our room. We lazily drank coffee in bed while waking up and the went down to have breakfast. We dined outside (the patio heaters were on). Excellent and then we walked to the Monterey Aquarium and enjoyed 20 foot aquarium window, sturgeon. jelly fish, very helpful docents.

Love the easy access to amenities. I enjoyed the CAR WEEK energy along with wildlife viewing (seals and pelicans)! Bicycle trails nearby are fun (Mad Dog rentals) and I hope to do the kayaking next time!
