The place is quiet, pleasant and quiet despite being in a commercial and busy area like the “barrio antiguo” I have no comments about it, everything seems great to me

the location was good. The building itself was fine. Could have been great. We arrived during normal hours and the door was locked. nobody answered the door bell or answered the phone when we tried to call. We had to wait outside untill somone entered and follow them inside. This was extremely uncomfortable for us and we were afraid we had been the subject of a scam somehow. Then we were met by a man who we were not sure if he even worked there. He said we did not have a reservation. At this point we thought we had for sure been scammed and stongly considered leaving. It took some time to show him email confirmation and reservation numbers before he called someoen else to confirm. Eventually he apologized and said the owner had been irresponsible and not informed him of our arrival. All of this took about an hour. This was all the time we had before we were to meet our tour guide. We had planned to eat during this time, but this confusion made that impossible and made the rest of our stay more difficult.

Fantastic location and great value. The place is super cute. I'm American with limited Spanish, and it was difficult to learn the Samsung digital door lock system without instructions. The ladies restroom and the door to Room #1 need repair. Overall, the place could use some attention and cleaning.

One of the WORST hostel in South America ! Everything it's dirty and smell bad ! The bathroom it's terrible ,smell really bad and the doors don't close ! And the guy that work there should be taking lesson to be more friendly ! I give 1 star only because there was the curtains for the bunk bed I will never come back !

The hostel it's beautiful, in a great location, close to all tourist attractions and bars/ restaurants but in needs of proper management and can be one of the best not only in Monterrey but in Mexico. The place it's expensive ( although I appreciated the discount) for what they falsely offered. It's lacking the proper management and only one caretaker/cleaner and no one is around with the knowledge of the area. There are some false information on the website as there is no launch or TV, empty pool, no proper kitchen's facilities and even no table spoons(although it was provided after a few days but still bits and pieces are missing), no proper pillows, no water filter and perhaps the filter was changed a few years ago and no towels and have to pay for it which isn't common practice in Mexico and it was my first experience in the last 3 months of traveling in Mexico especially for an expensive hostel ( similar price to Europe). The cleaning it's not regular especially kitchen area, bathroom and the room. However, I enjoyed my long stay and I definitely recommend it. The pillow was not good at all, no water filter, no towels and no regular cleaning.

Love the curtains on the dorm beds and chargers for each bed. Great location with everything in walking distance. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice and cool. Everything felt safe and secure. Things felt a little disorganized. The keypads for the door locks seemed a little problematic and I was woken up a few times by alarms going off when they didn’t work.

It was clean. The room was horrible. It did not look at all like the photos in Internet. Everything in it was old and creepy. There was even a fridge that could not be connected anywhere, a locker instead of a closet and an inside door to the room next door that let our neighboor hear everything we said and viceversa. WiFi was bad. The shower water was ok but it had no division from the rest of the bathroom so it got flooded.
