Hotel Bonaparte

Welcoming and very competent staff throughout the property. Very well appointed and comfortable rooms and a top restaurant make this a top choice in Montréal. The continental breakfast was a presented in a novel fashion, but was a bit lacking…

Great location and staff, beautiful building and facilities. We booked 2 rooms and had 2 different experiences. The deluxe queen room was wonderful. The second room booked was the standard queen room however we were provided a room with a Murphy bed that had a broken frame. While we were very disappointed, hotel management did what they could to accommodate us for the inadequate sleeping conditions. Hopefully they fix or replace the frame and advertise the room appropriately and at a reduced price for the Murphy bed so future customers have the right expectation.

Breakfast box was just OK. A muffin and juice. I think the same concept could be expanded a little bit more.

Location and cleanliness Duvet was too warm for summer temperatures.

Everything was fine

The staff was very service oriented and helpful. The location by the Vieux Port and in the Old City was convenient, we could walk most places. I would have preferred a full breakfast instead of continental breakfast. There was a small fridge in the room though so we went to a grocery store and bought yogurt, fruit and hardboiled eggs.

The hotel is in a great location in Old Montreal. And the staff went out of their way to make sure you had everything you needed. They were very helpful. We had one of the larger rooms and it was very comfortable. I wish they had a full breakfast on site but they only have a continental breakfast that they deliver to your room.

Breakfast received was a little strange. We received 2 pieces of bread/cake and some dips. Was not bad, but not great. I've stayed at the Bonaparte many times and usually enjoy the breakfast basket!

Everything was terrific. Room was outstanding. Staff was attentive. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. I can’t imagine what would’ve been better

Very clean. Nice hard wood floors. Nice location We didn’t like that we were on the second front in the front (street view) . It was a bit noisy

Romantic property in the middle of the old Montreal - perfect for a couple weekend. Also great barman! No 24h food service, also the wine selection at the restaurant was excellent but very pricey. The reception staff was also not well informed about restaurants or things to do nearby. Overall good hotel but not ideal if one is traveling for business.

The staff was exceptionally helpful on many occasions and the hotel fulfilled all expectations for cleanliness and beauty in a walk to everything location. Could not have been more pleased.

I work in Hospitality, so I know first hand the difference between genuine acts of service and a canned routine. Valerie and Micheal were so warm and welcoming upon arrival. Our bartender and servers were knowledgeable and intuitive. We called for a late night delivery of wine and the gentleman was such a gem delivering it to us. I asked for a special picture printed upon arrival for our room and they delivered, which gave us both a good laugh. When checking out, they asked if we would like them to hold onto our bags while we continued to explore the city until later in the day. I will both recommend AND return for another visit. Thank you so much for a special weekend getaway.
