Breakfast was delicious, with kind, exquisite servers and subtle music. Valet parking was quick and straightforward, and could fit a large SUV. Beds were comfortable. Could just about fit two people in a double bed. Lighting in the halls is a bit too dark at times, giving off an eerie feeling. The washroom in one of our rooms had no lock — unfortunate in a room designed for four guests.

Would be appreciated to have bedding for sofa bed in room, or if not that, inquire upon check in to see whether needed.

The hotel itself was fine, but unfortunately, we did not find the staff particularly welcoming or friendly toward guests who did not speak French. At times, the interactions felt uncomfortable and made us feel less welcome. For a hotel serving international visitors, I would expect staff to be more accommodating and patient with non-French-speaking guests.

Location was excellent for walking around downtown It’s very dark in the hallways and the rooms. But it goes with the vibe I think.

The night before our departure, we requested the staff engage a taxi for the following day to pick us at the hotel at 4:45 am. The taxi was not called until we presented to the front desk at 4:45, and did not arrive until 5:00 am.
