Friendly staff. No tea or coffee facility in the room.

It was very central. Great for walking around and close to a laundromat. The breakfast was good too. We stayed in a room for four people, but it took quite a while for the hotel to provide enough towels. Throughout our stay, someone was always missing a towel, shampoo, or another basic bathroom amenity, which was frustrating. At breakfast, we discovered that the milk had expired. We realized it had gone bad when we warmed it up and noticed it had curdled, with clumps floating on the surface. Unfortunately, some of us had already consumed the spoiled milk before the issue was identified. To the hotel’s credit, the staff replaced the milk once we informed them, but this should never have happened in the first place. Overall, while the staff resolved the issue, the lack of attention to basic room supplies and food quality affected our experience.

On arrival there was no room allocated and we were forced to move to another hotel. Not happy . especially after a transatlantic flight. Very very annoying and tiring

The room was in the basement and was extremely small. I don’t feel like I got value for my $$

Clean, easy to access and breakfast included

The lady who checked me was really nice and took the extra mile in enlightening me about the city and the services and I really liked the location in terms of the close proximity to the metro and old montreal plus multiple shopping units around the vicinity The breakfast did not have much other than the sausages and ready made omelets but night staff gents should improve on their service and also paying over $150 a night it would have been better if the hotel provides water bottles and coffee amenities in the room and the front desk agent on the second night I stayed asked me to drink water from the lobby filter saying there was no water and in the morning the ladies in front desk said they've got water bottles and offered me one. The AC in the room was also not cool enough and not very worth the price. The front desk should learn to have the decency to at least enquire about the stay without giving a serious don't care attitude

- The room seemed visually clean - The staff was nice - The breakfast was basic but good - The bathroom had an unpleasant, musty/moldy smell. - The AC in our room made an annoying rattling sound

Great location Overpriced

On the positive side, the staff were very polite and even accommodated an early check‑in, which made our arrival much smoother. The free breakfast had a good variety of options and was a nice way to start the day. Overall, our stay was quiet and relaxed, with the only drawback being the smaller room size than I had assumed. Just felt the small space for a reasonable price

The location is good and near to downtown The rooms are too tiny. We asked to upgrade the rooms but they mentioned all rooms are same.

* Great location. Only a 3-minute walk to the nearest subway station. * Breakfast was good, and they offer free coffee in the lobby. * Fast WI-FI * The bathroom with shower was actually clean, and the room has the basics like AC, a coffee maker, a safe and a mini-fridge. * Excellent staff especially IDA for being so great. I stayed here recently and, honestly, I didn’t like it. Compared to my previous stay at Le Dauphin, this room was much smaller and significantly more expensive. I’m not sure where the extra money is going. But the layout is a mess. The TV is mounted on the wall parallel to the bed, only about 2 meters away. Even with the extension mount, it doesn't move horizontally enough to watch comfortably—it's just too close. The room is so tiny I had to keep my backpack on the floor. If I had brought an actual suitcase, I don’t think I could have moved. The absolute dealbreaker, though, was the noise. The wooden floors have zero insulation. Every step I took was loud, and I could hear every single move the people in the room above me made. I wouldn't stay here again even if it were free. Management really needs to either fix the soundproofing or be upfront with guests about these rooms. In brief: * Tiny, overpriced room with a poorly placed TV. * Zero insulation between floors. * The entrance isn't flat; there are steps to climb, which is a total pain if you have suitcases. * Unless you’re traveling very light and don't mind the noise, there are better options for the price.
