La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh Durham Intl AP

Had an overnight stay. Room was clean, bed was comfy and breakfast in the morning was good. They offered stand breakfast which wasn’t bad. Staff was very kind. Airport shuttle is an amenity which is a plus. Would definitely stay again.

The bath mat on the tub is lifting and there appears to be black mold present under and possibly on top. Also in the corner of the shower. Something had been removed from the tub surround, possibly a soap dish however the area was not cleaned. Looks like black mold around the edges. The door to the bathroom needs serious attention. It’s disgusting looking filthy.

Carpet is filthy! I walked in clean socks (always do in hotels) and the bottom of them were brown. The room was clean, but the overall maintenance and up keep is poor. Front desk staff friendly. Breakfast was just okay.

Convenient location

The pool was closed. They should have posted that on the website because I would have chose another hotel. It was 95 degrees out everyday. The first room had a horrible smell and table was broken. We were fortunately moved to a different room which was fine however there was mold in the shower and the shower curtain had stains on it. The Main first floor hallway floor, walls , rug, and doors were filthy .

Here is what was disappointing, the closer you look at the paint job you can see places where they missed, broken tile base falling off the wall in the bathroom, they also sprayed some kind of tub film on the bottom of the tub which is now pealing off, they still used the old faucets (tub & sink) which are stiff to use, and we had a cockroach come out behind the curtains. The interior of the elevator needs a face lift. You walk into the hotel and everything looks nice then you use the elevator and you ask yourself, don't they see how the interior looks? Here is what we liked about the room. Air conditioner was fairly quiet and worked well, the small refrigerator worked well, a recliner, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We stayed in room 235, with a kingsize bed.

Rooms and property are well maintained and clean

Hotel room was good but the rest of the hotel was dated and not the greatest looking. The room was out dated as it never had any usb ports for electronics but it had outlets to plug into. Overall good if you're just spending 1 night there in my opinion.

This hotel felt very dirty and dated. The hallways and elevator were worse than the room. The hotel is directly in the flight path of RDU airport, it does get quiet late night but not a restful, peaceful, relaxing place to stay. Flight left too early for us to enjoy coffee or breakfast.

Cleanliness Nothing really

Every staff member was very personable and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable even when I lost my key. The rooms are clean and look great

Friendly and helpful staff and the room is great

My entire stay was less than 5 hours. The front desk lady was extremely helpful. The room was very clean,mattress was great along with the pillows. The furniture was somewhat dated. I would definitely consider another stay at this location.

Room was spacious and clean and nicely laid out. Breakfast was good but could use more pastries. Loved the free shuttle service to the airport. The driver was friendly and helpful. The check-in person was very helpful with information needed. The room needs a refresh. Tub needs replacing (patch job bad), toilet paper roller missing, Kleenex box dispenser broken and pool (in summer) was not available…..

I would stay here again. A few things to work on include: making sure the floor is clean, cause my feet got pretty dirty walking around the room; if it’s possible to warn folks ahead of time about the pool being closed, that would’ve been helpful cause I counted on spending a little bit of time there; and fix the ice machine; also the door on the first floor going out to the parking lot doesn’t close very well. But I had a great breakfast and the room was pretty much what I needed.

Breakfast The pool was not opened for the public. The bathroom doors were broken, and one of the employees walked into our room while we were in it.
