Beach Bungalow Inn and Suites

This place was close to the Bay, clean and reasonably priced. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful.

The staff was very helpful and the room was very nice I would stay here again

Lovely room - spacious and lots of amenities. Comfy bed and shower! We awoke to the sound of seals. Great stay

Perfect location, very close walk to the beach

check-in with the stand-in management was accomodating and friendly nothing from my wife and I but we did have to explain to another guest how to utilize the keypad for him to get into is room - the office door was closed by 5:00 PM (not good customer service here, especially during prime check-in time)

Love the rooms. Close to everything I wanted. Seating areas outside. The young lady that was working, was very nice, informative and helpful. Rooms were very quiet !

The location was great and the amenities inside the room were good. The room was old and the painting was wearing off, and the cleanness was less than average hotel and no breakfast.

No Ice machine, that I could find?

I loved everything about the property, starting with the location and its breathtaking views. My dog was fascinated by the wildlife — the sea lions, the pelicans and endless parade of sea birds flying by in front of the property. And he loved exploring the tide pools on the narrow black sand beach below (the lighthouse next door has steps leading down to the beach). One morning a deer came right up to our door. The restaurant has delicious breakfast and lunch options and Nicky and the rest of the staff are very helpful. Shelter Cove is not an easy drive to get to (from LA where we are from) but it is a hidden gem and totally worth it. We will definitely be back. The blinds in our apartment were broken or rigged so that you could not pull them up completely but had to look through the picture windows through open blinds. Still impressive but not the unfettered view you would have wanted.

Close to Morro Rock and the Restaurants. Great location. I would book again.

Liked it No air conditioning

The clean room and location were good. We requested a specific room, and we got it. The proximity to everything made it easy to park the car and walk everywhere. We have stayed here many times. They did away with breakfast a couple of years ago, but they always offered a voucher for breakfast at a local spot; that's no longer offered. The fireplace didn't work. Some of the nice touches are gone, like the diaries that were in the rooms where guests could journal their trips/stays. All of those items gave the place a 10-star rating; now they are gone. It's a nice place to rest up, but I wouldn't rate it a 10 anymore.

Thin walls could hear neighbor cough, snore etc

Staff was super friendly. The location was great and was in walking distance to the water and town. Parking blocked views. No microwave.
