Staff rocked our stay and made it a 10! All staff were excellent . Restaurant manager top shelf!

We had stayed here 2 years ago for a special occasion and it was a fantastic stay, and we had great memories. So when we were thinking about where to stay to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary we chose Shashi. We had noted this when booking. We drove 3 hours to stay there in fact. However, this time our stay was far less than magical. There were multiple broken/flickering lights in our room. The bathroom door was broken and challenging to shut. And We were put in a room that had a connecting room. It was just disappointing. I think we had hoped for the same care we received on our first stay, and we were very let down. Still a nice enough stay, just not what we hoped.

What a mess. We stayed here two years ago and were blown away. We paid $250 per night, and everything was so amazing (from parking to check-in to the room) that we commented that the hotel could charge double. It really felt like they were trying. That’s all gone now. To start, they now charge double, and they should charge half. Parking costs $20 per night, only one person staffs the desk, ensuring a wait, and on day 1 one elevator was broken. By day two, all the elevators were broken. Our room, no longer spacious, would have been perfect in midtown Manhattan. It was so cramped, the provided chair had to sit shoved in a corner where it blocked the closet. There are no drawers, not one. The hotel provided 1 water, 1 robe, and 1 extra pillow. The entire experience was a disappointment. It’s a glorified Hampton Inn now. The only reason to stay here is if you have business at Google or are going to Shoreline Amphitheatre. Such a letdown

Modern facilities Parking and the bathroom wasn't very private.
-
Walking distance to the amphitheater..maybe 10 minutes away…
-
It has everything you need: gym, sauna, pool, spa etc. The fact that pool and whirlpool are in the narrow courtyard leads to a) the whole hotel being able to watch you (all the rooms face the courtyard) b) there is almost no sun. The furnitures in our room where old and had marks everywhere. Needs renovation. One out of two elevators was continuously out of service which led to a lot of waiting time on the other.

Modern and clean. But the shade control in bedroom didn’t work.

lovely place, small hotel but very fancy and relaxing area

So convenient to get to Shoreline Amphitheater
-
Beautiful boutique style hotel. Simply wonderful stay close to the Google empire. Perfect place to stay when you’re attending a show at the Shoreline Amphitheater which is a wonderful walk (about a mile). If you’re walking take a flashlight for the walk back. Phone flashlight works but not so great. Will stay at the Shashi again for sure

Overall, the hotel was clean, but did carry an overpowering smell of free breeze down the hallways. Staff were really good and tentative.
