Basic hotel in Munich. The rooms were simple and had everything that you need. They put our three rooms together which was great. The afternoon guy on reception was lovely! Everything was clean. There were some steps to navigate with luggage. There was no air-conditioning but this wasn't listed when we checked. Pedestal fans were provided that offered some respite from the heat.

One night it was raining and the hotel staff gave us 3 umbrellas to use. Not 1, three!?

Location to train station and Marienplatz was great.Room was clean and staff were helpful. This room had no fans which made sleeping difficult during unusually hot summer night. Opening windows was not an option as Munich neighbourhood is a lively area after hours.

The location near the train station is convenient. The room was dirty. The TV and internet did not work. I informed staff of the problem, but they did not fix it. The shower head height adjustment was broken.

Close to bahnhof and walking distance to attractions and the metro. No air conditioning and the temps were in the upper 80’s. But they provided a large fan which helped a ton!

The hotel is clean, spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, the neighborhood is not nice. We requested a crib in advance. It wasn’t prepared for the first night and the front desk wasn’t able to set us one. For our second night, we had a travel crib but without mattress.. we ended up sleeping with the baby both nights

We arrived on Nightjet from Venice. Our room was ready at 8 am!!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Isar Hotel Munich. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, making it easy to relax after long days of sightseeing. The rooms were clean and well‑maintained, which gave a very comfortable feeling. I also found the location very convenient—easy to commute to the city center and nearby attractions. On top of that, the rooms were spacious, giving us plenty of room to settle in and feel at home. Altogether, it made the stay pleasant and stress‑free.

Huge room with fridge, was very good and exceeded my expectations. A smart TV included where I could watch PSG x Arsenal. Very good hotel and recommend.

Excellent stay!

Easy walk to Train Station & Old Town. The Bakery next door is open early (6-6:30 am) and have delicious treats, breakfasts and light sandwiches The coffee maker in the room didn’t boil and in my room had to be moved to side table to plug in. The windows open wide for breeze & they provided a fan as it was quite warm. Bed is comfortable, ample cupboard space, hairdryer, safe, and fridge. Lift (elevator) but one must walk up 6-8 steps to get to it. For anyone using a wheelchair or mobility aid the rooms are not accessible.

Location was convenient--close to the main train station. Front desk guy was friendly and helpful. Appreciated that our room for a family of four turned out to be two adjoining rooms. Could have been a bit cleaner, the toilet seat did not fully cover the rim of the toilet, curtains did not fully close, did not like the soap and shampoo that was provided.

It did not feel I'm in the best part of the city.

Was a good no-frills hotel in Munich. They were very accomodating when we added an extra person to our room for three of the four nights. A little bit of a walk to the main Christmas market but still easily accessible. Also not too far from the train station. Room was basic but comfortable, we enjoyed our stay.

The location is very good, close to the city center, but very noisy throughout the night. The bed wasn't comfortable and was quite noisy when you moved. The curtain also didn't provide complete blackout.
-
The rooms were very well cleaned, the staff was very professional, receptive and nice. They service the room if you are staying more than one night. They have a luggage room and store your bags, they are close to Munich’s main train station.

The noise on street level was insane. Too hot to close windows and people were screaming in street all night
