Spacious room, bathtub & separate shower, desk, mini-fridge, sofa, and we loved the balcony with 2 chairs. Rooftop terrace-bar very enjoyable except for all the smokers. Very good breakfast, and as we learned the last night, excellent, popular restaurant on site. We could hear some very heavy-footed person stomping upstairs at night and all morning, minor complaint.

Great location. Comfy room. Good breakfasts. Friendly and helpful staff. No iron in room. A few steps to negotiate between floor and lift access; particularly with heavy luggage.

I really enjoyed my stay at Deutsche Eiche in Munich and would happily stay here again. My room was very clean and even came with an unexpected balcony, which was such a nice surprise. I also really appreciated the complimentary drinks in the room — Coke, water, and beer — which was a thoughtful touch. The service was excellent throughout my stay. I checked out a little later than the official checkout time, and the staff were very understanding about it. The receptionist, Samuel (if I remember his name correctly), was especially friendly and even helped me with my suitcases. My room required going up some stairs, and he kindly carried my suitcases all the way up to the room for me, which I really appreciated. They also stored my luggage after checkout, which made my last day in Munich much easier. Another lovely detail is that you receive a voucher for a glass of Prosecco when you get your room key, which can be used at their rooftop restaurant. I didn't manage to use mine, but when I returned the key, they very kindly offered me a complimentary coffee instead. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay with lots of small thoughtful touches and genuinely friendly service. I would definitely recommend Deutsche Eiche and would stay here again on my next trip to Munich.

Location, breakfast and room were adequate. The shower leaked like a sieve. There was no way to take a shower without getting water on a large portion of the bathroom floor. The shower door would not close and the seal at the bottom of the glass between the shower and the toilet let water run out un abated.

They always clean it everyday. They didn't touch my things and they always have complementary drinks everyday. So minor only, the CR doesn't have a door but it's okey.

Everything was fantastic. My family and I really enjoyed our (all too) brief stay here. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The facilities and location were superb but the main plus is the staff. They are excellent - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We got a free upgrade on one of our single rooms, which was wonderful of them and really allowed my son and his family to spread out and enjoy a wonderful night's sleep. The breakfast was great too with very attentive staff and a lovely range of foodstuffs. Nothing. We all said the same thing - this is a great hotel
