Hotel Jedermann

I have been traveling in Germany for the last two weeks. Frankly I reserved this place only for the to catch the train! (Very near) The receptionist was accommodating our bicycles in the secure room and the breakfast was the feast. When I got lost my way the workers there were willing to help me. When it comes to the hospitality this hotel beats the five star hotel??‍♀️ The facility is a bit old but clean.

The hotel is full of old world charm. Staff are exceptionally kind and accommodating. Breakfast is plentiful and has a large variety of items that should please most any palate. The rooms retain their original, albeit quirky, character and the plaster walls and solid windows prevent outside noises. The hotel is perfectly situated, as it is a mere 10 minute walk to the central station in one direction, the bus transit terminal in the other, and lovely old town and a popular, modern neighborhood just behind. Because it retains its original composition, some of the rooms do not have a private bath or shower and many do not have air conditioning, although fans are provided. During our stay, we had a unit with a sink and shower, but the wc was shared with others down the hall. Also, there was no ac and our unit was on the top floor during a very warm period. We were told there were no other rooms available, but we were able to open the window at night and obtain a breeze. Unfortunately, nearby construction began at 7:06am. We were also told such an early start time is not uncommon for Munich. We still rate the property very highly due to the factors mentioned above.

The service was the same you get at a 5 start hotel. Friendly, kind, they really want you to have the best time.

Everything was great. Prime location. Super courteous staff. Excellent accommodation.

Facilities are a little bit old. Hot water in the shared bathroom was not stable.

Good coffee for breakfast. Staff is nice. The hotel doesn't have enough hot water for all the residents. Walls between rooms are transparent for any sounds. I could hear snoring of my neighbors.

Lots of noise outside hotel, construction works started at 5 am.

The hotel was centrally located within walking distance of the central station and Hackerbrucke station. I was able to check-in earlier than the check-in time, which was much appreciated. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast service was friendly and the offering was good. There was sparingly to no warm water during the peak morning hours. There also wasn't a mini fridge present in the room. Some rooms also have a connected door to the next room, which let's quite a lot of sound leak through. (Sound from the hallway leaking through is similar to other hotels).

Staff were friendly, room was clean & tidy. Problems with the hot water. Low pressure and cold at times.

wifi was abysmal. unusable wifi. do not stay here if you need a solid internet connection.

Everything was excellent. The location was perfect. The staff very friendly and the breakfast was very good. The only comment I have is that the pillows were too soft.

Cozy and clean hotel situated in the center of Munich. Very friendly and polite staff. Good and tasty breakfast, the chef was very polite and always asking what we wanted to drink.
