MOMA1890 is a boutique hotel in Munich's artist district Haidhausen. Each of the 51 rooms was designed differently by architect Kurt Seidel. Highlights he set with designer furniture from Vitra, Le Corbusier, Hansen, Eames & Co. as well as lights from Occhio, Flos, Artemide and Ingo Maurer. The bathrooms are equipped with (water- and energy-saving) fittings from the manufacturers Laufen and Dornbracht, as well as care products from the L'Occitane brand. Whether for sightseeing, a museum tour or a shopping day in Munich. The breakfast team serves you fresh coffee specialties & egg dishes. At our buffet you will also find dairy products, cheese & sausage, fresh fruit, muesli & baked goods from Munich and the region. Our MOMA Lounge is the heart of the hotel. Our bar is a fully stocked area that is at your disposal.

We really liked the location of the hotel, which was super clean and quiet. The hotel team was friendly and helpful.

Spacious, clean room. Amazingly close to the station, but quiet. Easy to access centre of city via scooters / bikes. Friendly staff. Lovely approach to minibar - free soft drinks and snacks in the lobby rather than in the room. Sensible bathroom design (ie big enough and the shower screen doesn't leak). Lift quite small for two people + rucksacks from interrailing - but that's minor

Amazing place- exceptionally clean and full of character. Impeccable attention to detail makes you feel welcomed. Hotel is just across the road from Munich ost train station ( not the main one) and has great public transport links. Everything was perfect

Very convenient location next to train station and within walking distance to most major attractions. Friendly and helpful staff. Many spaces in the hotel feel constricted. Small room, small elevator, tight passages.

Beautiful spacious room in an ideal location for all forms of public transport. The hotel offers a lounge with free hot drinks, soft drinks and snacks and a very small charge for beer and wine on an honesty basis. Extremely comfortable bed. No noise despite being right in the middle of a busy transport hub. Nothing an everything was great.
