A great hotel makes half of your problems go away. After looking at countless number of options I chose go with Design&Kunsthotel. Everything is top notch. Clean, pristine and close to all Munich attractions. I usually try to stay a little out of City Centre in Europe but spend a little bit extra and you’d unlock a next level place a stay. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. 100/10. See you next time! And yes, Art is in the heart of this place. Mind calming art all around. And a great coffee shop right in the front to get started with your day.

Location is near to München Hbf so short term stay is very economical as no need to buy local transport tickets. Reception is good and room facilities were up to the mark. One of the manager Gabi was very helpful in accommodating the requests. We didn't do the breakfast so not sure about it.

Cute, modern & quirky hotel right on the main street between the train station (Hauptbahnhof) and the Marienplatz. The manager is a very gregarious person and we always shared a laugh when we met. Breakfast was downstairs at a small cafe and the food was good (if a slightly limited selection) and very convenient. The location on the main street has it's perks, but being so close to the trolley tracks became an issue at night. A trolley went by EVERY 3 MINUTES until very late and our lower floor room was overwhelmed by the rumble. Thankfully, earplugs saved the day. On upper floors it might be a non-issue.

Location was very convenient from airport and the main tourist attractions and for our onward train travel. The coffee machine was great and it was a very nice touch to have free drinks from minibar.
