Hotel Occam

The hotel was very good, I had like an apartment, with 2 rooms, little kitchen. private bathroom. The staff was wonderful. helping with everything, they allowed me to make a late check out at 14.00 according to my flight time. the location is wonderful, very cool street and surroundings, full of restaurants and bars. transportation 200 meter from the hotel. No air conditioning .... it was hot

Hotel Occam is in a lovely, lively neighbor but away from loud throughways and very close to the subway. The room was amazingly quiet for how great the location is (even with a Germany world cup game going on, I wasn't bothered by any noise). The English Garden is very close, which was a lovely option to have during a sweltering heat wave. Staff were friendly and accommodating!

I was traveling for a small wedding ceremony in Munich and chose this hotel for the location and budget. I was welcomed by very nice hosts who engaged on conversations, cared and helped me with my luggage because of my foot (I had a twisted ankle at the time). The room was one of the cleanest I've been too, especially on smaller hotels, and it was all very comfortable and perfect for a solo traveller. The location is wonderful. Not only very accessible by metro, but also surrounded by options nearby to eat and go out in the evening. Even without breakfast, I can only recommend it. The only observation is for those with mobility issues. The hotel is on the first floor and doesn't have an elevator, so it is difficult for people who cannot go up even a little. The owners are very accomodating and helpful, but they are also limited.

It’s located very nicely, close to an U-Bahn stop not too far from the city center, as well as quite close to the Englischer Garden, a terrific park. Our room faced the courtyard and was a very quiet and peaceful place that we thoroughly enjoyed. Honestly no complaints!

Location nearby English Garden...and various shops, cafés restaurants, supermarket and other nearby. Quiet room. Much public transport/ good connections to many places. A bit more spacious shower room. ... price-offer ratio some too expensive. some red tape, some communication shortcomings. No elevator. No door hanger. Some smaller tight room. Almost no room amenities, so also no liquid soap for me no problem, as I had my own ones.? Some outdated room atmosphere.

I liked everything overall, but I really appreciated how clean and organized everything was. For a small, family-owned hotel, the level of cleanliness of the hotel was really commendable.

Incredibly clean, staff(James, Stephanie and Silvia) very welcoming. No coffee or tea to make in room but they will make you both and serve in small room with tables. Bakeries close by so would go pick up something in morning and come back to eat with tea and coffee. Good location, underground train within 5 minute walk and 13 minute train ride to either Marienplatz or Octoberfest.

Wonderful service from the hotel owners! Very comfy well kept rooms in a very convenient location. Easy to get anywhere we wanted to in the city, perfect for tourists.

Nice and quiet. Not like a traditional hotel, instead a family owned place that hosts their guests for a period of time. A small coffee machine would be a plus but there are lots of places you can grab you coffee around.

Each room is named and decorated after a painter. The room is quiet and clean. There are enough power sockets in convenient places. The shower is spatious. There is a fridge in the room. We had a balcony. The blackout curtains work well. The heating works. We stayed on the 4th floor with no elevator. The pillows were not good enough; I would prefer having more pillows of different softness each. We could get only one key to the room.

Very good location, close to train station. Supermarkets, restourants, cafes - everything you need is just near There is no elevator and you know that only when arriving and get your room on 5 floor (including ground floor). Thus, if you have a problem with claimbing stairs check on what floor is your room. And pilows must be changed to normal pilows.

Great location near a subway station, the park, and on a nice road. Everything downtown is a 5 minute walk and 5 minute U ride away. Staff was friendly and accommodating for my extremely jetlagged first day. The street is usually quiet, but since the buildings are tall and somewhat close together, the rare car driving past is magnified. If you like having windows open and are a light sleeper, this might be an issue
