Cutely designed room with 3 levels with a TV on each level and a lovely open terrace on the top terrace. Jacuzzi was nice and decently-sized. Overall, a spacious room. The hotel's main advantage is its location. Its very close to the city centre and all the useful tourist and transport zones while still being on a lane that is itself very quiet, pretty and full of cafes. The Isar river is walking distance from the hotel and the walk alongside it is quite pleasant. Too many things on the downside. The 3 level design of the room soon becomes a burden as you are going up and down steps all day. 2 of 3 TVs did not work and the technician couldn't fix it. I would not recommend the Presidential Suite. The hotel has no room service. Even the rudimentary administrative services (coffee pods, tea sachets, etc) are slow and burdensome to get. Most of time, we just went down 4 floors and fetched things ourselves. Reception staff was polite but nothing more. Not the kind of welcome you expect at a hotel (especially when you have booked the Presidential Suite). Other than them, no one spoke English.

A/C didn't work very well, but thankfully it was a bit cooler when we were there.

Location was stellar and staff was very nice. The room was well appointed and clean. Public areas of the hotel were nice, themed, and clean too. The value for the location seriously could not be beat. Unfortunately the sauna was unavailable for our entire stay. The beds were fine, but it seemed like the air conditioning turned off in the middle of the night - we got very warm every night. It was fine, just a bit annoying.

Breakfast was very good as was the location 15 minutes walk to the U bahn Nothing

Quiet, comfortable flat. The staff was extremely friendly and has bike parking in a safe, secure garage. The flat had no dish soap, paper towels or a kitchen towel to dry the dishes. Other than that, our stay was fabulous.

The hotel was stunning. Beautiful quiet location in a great neighborhood. Alessandra at reception took the experience of staying here to the next level. GREAT customer service (which is hard to come by in Germany). Everything was perfect.

Location was good. Staff was very accommodating. The rooms were very hot, air conditioning didn’t work very well.

    Location and parking

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

The location was perfect, close to public transportation, restaurants and grocery. Exploring the neighborhood was enjoyable and interesting.

The property was conveniently located to a bus that connects to Marienplatx and the center of Munich. Parking is available and reasonably priced. There was a very strong smoke smell upon arrival which can be irritating for those with allergies

  • Engine customer Dec 2025

The room where we finally ended up was comfortable. Parking is expensive. Thermostats need clear instructions; not sure that they always work. Breakfast is absurdly expensive. There are many light switches that don’t do anything. There are no paper products in the kitchen. The first room that we had (with an upstairs) was incredibly hot in the sleeping area. We had to move rooms, which we are grateful that they allowed us to do.

The vicinity is great, staff friendly.

  • Engine customer Dec 2025

Beds, it was told in booking.com one large bed but we got twin beds and the staff said they are not responsible for that

  • Engine customer Nov 2025

The old world feel and location near the Isar and Marienplatz, bus stops.

  • Engine customer Nov 2025

Nice staff, perfect location, spacious and clean room. It was poorly lit. It was difficult to read and find things at night.

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

There was nothing not to like.

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

The bed was just ok and the space of the room was a bit small for the price.
