Radiant Inn & Suites

I've stayed in motels through 5-star resorts. My reviews are based on the class of hotel I'm staying at, on its own merits. My rating is a 3 star review based on other comparable, mid-range hotels. First impressions upon arrival is, the building and property looked pretty charming. Staff are attentive but you may have to wait several moments at the front desk. They did have great hospitality and, I was able to check-in early as a very generous courtesy. I passed on the breakfast based on other reviews so I can't review that. I may have missed it, but I didn't see an elevator, no big deal. The lobby staircase is aged, in a good way, and I enjoyed getting my steps in on it. If there was an elevator, I would have still used that staircase. The King Suite was not what I expected based on the online photos, and, let's just say I'm glad I brought my sanitizing wipes. Pretty basic room, wall unit ac, firm mattress. The room has been neglected in the cleaning department. Stains on walls, ceiling, lamp shades and the chair, sticky remote. The chair was disgustingly putrid with stains. Peeling paint in bathroom, rusty fixtures, missing paint on door jams. (I have photos). Seeing lack of cleaning on the highly visible obvious filth, made we question how any cleaning went. No barefoot for me. Bedding was however very clean, excellent pillows as were the towels. Very basic toiletries. Review based accordingly.

A decent sized room, quiet, and comfortable. However, no elevator to aid in getting bags to upper floors, breakfast was basic, and shower was broken

Great staff

It was a good place for a one night stay. Just no elevator. The breakfast was not nothing to write home about, the cereal was stale.

Cons: Our room wasn’t the most sound-proof. Woke up at 5 am to banging in the next room (bathroom use), and could hear every sound at 5 am when people were leaving, shutting doors, and walking down the hallway. Breakfast choice is toast w P/B and jelly, frozen waffle, cereal, or apple. Good fruit juice selection (orange, cranberry, pineapple) but all were so watered down to the point you could not taste the fruit.

The hotel looked like it had been recently renovated but had a heavy smell from the time you walked in and down the halls. The rooms only had a faint smell. The breakfast was very scant with toaster waffles and no hot options.

The location was great! The room was clean and quite. The bathroom door was very loud.

It was cheap, but i wouldn’t have paid more. The room was clean and I felt safe, but very basic. The pillows were awful. Only a tiny shampoo and conditioner in the room, no soap. Thin very worn towels. The breakfast was frozen waffles, white toast or sugary cereal. The only protein was a package of peanut butter, for the toast I guess. Just seemed like every corner that could be cut was.

They could clean the mirrors in the suites

Clean room, nothing else. Breakfast was lacking, they ran out of coffee and almost seemed annoyed about making more.

It was clean Breakfast wasn’t much .

All was good for the price.

Would stay there again.
