Best Western Plus Myrtle Beach @ Intracoastal

It was my birthday trip with family, we had a great time. Location was great for shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was great and staff was very helpful.

One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because it is pet-friendly, and we were assigned to the designated pet-friendly floor. During our stay, we were informed that there had been multiple complaints about our dog barking while we were away. We were told that if the barking continued, we would have to take our dog with us whenever we left the hotel. While we understand the need to address noise complaints, there were several other dogs barking on the floor as well. That day, there was also constant foot traffic and loud hallway noise, which can easily cause dogs to bark. We felt that we were being singled out rather than the situation being handled fairly. To make matters worse, the front desk employee, Kelly, was dismissive and rude when I tried to discuss my concerns. Good customer service can make a difficult situation much easier to resolve, but that was not our experience. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay. Between the poor cleanliness, outdated accommodations, and the way our concerns were handled, I would not recommend this hotel to others.

The location The door was not well sealed and we had the AC on with the gap on the bottom of the door the hot air from the corridor got in and mixed with the cold in the room makes the floor be constantly Wet. Plus the A/C makes a lot Noise, hard to sleep well.

Rooms 320 were actually like pictures, breckfast was great scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, oatmeal, potatoes, pancakes, cereals, other usal items.. price was 75 to 85 cheaper per night (while we were there) july 21st to 23th two night A 30 min drive from ocean lakes where kids camped, while we visited them, but every motel between there and the Best Western even the lowest of low rated motels were running 175 to 200+ a night, but it was a great easy drive to hotel and was nicer than I was first expected because the price was much cheaper than others but it did have an 8 rating and it was.

Everything was great. I enjoyed my stay with two kids. I wouldn't change anything and if I come back to Myrtle Beach I will choose Best Western again!

The breakfast, room, and location was great. I didn't like the jacuzzi tub in the king suite. It should have been a regular tub. The way the tub was made, the shower leaked very badly when turning on and off.

Good distance between where I lived and where I had planned on driving to for the two days. Only problem was the WiFi would go out once or twice and would take a good while before it would fix itself.

The property was very clean. The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was good and plentiful. I appreciate the pool and fitness room on site. I was prepared to watch a movie on streaming, but that was not available on the type of television in the room, but it was still a good experience.
