Dayton House Resort, BW Signature Collection

The room was clean and ready, and the breakfast was delicious .

Because the resort has multiple buildings, I asked for the address of my building to enter into my GPS. The address I was given was incorrect and directed me approximately 20 minutes away from the property. I eventually had to ask other people outside for assistance in locating the correct building. This was an extremely frustrating way to begin what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. The room itself was spacious and clean; however, there was a persistent damp carpet odor, especially in the living room area. In addition, the room was not stocked with enough toiletries for our stay. When I called the front desk the following day to request additional soap, I was told I would need to come to the office to pick it up because no staff were available to deliver items. About 30 minutes later, I observed housekeeping staff delivering towels and supplies to a neighboring room. Based on the difference in how I was treated compared to other guests, I left feeling that I was treated differently because of my accent and appearance. Whether intentional or not, the experience made me feel unwelcome and negatively affected my vacation

The rooms were very dated and the ac in the rooms barely worked and was loud. The pools were murky. The breakfast was ok but didnt have a much selection. Overall wasnt worth the price.

Its not worth the price of the hotel rooms. Breakfast was good. Location is also good. Could have been more cleaner halls and elevators, as those were smelling.

I could have made better breakfast with a box of cereal a gallon of milk and a carton of eggs you need some fresh food on that bar because y'all charge enough to be able to afford it... There needs to be hot water in the kitchen as well as the bathroom in the shower. No maid service ever knocked on my door.. The front door was jammed and had to be realigned by maintenance so we could get in and then we had to kick the damn thing to get a line with the door frame the whole time of our stay so we could get the hell out shower drain has about 5 lb of hair inside of it maintenance guy was very nice and I don't see why we could not have left our blue pool towels in the room instead of having to go back to the room for us to fetch him unless your damn staff is stealing from you so that was a pretty much of an inconvenience

Rooms were nice and clean. I asked for extra towels and blankets with no issue. There are several different buildings and parking locations. Pools, hot tubs, and a lazy river were clean and maintenenced. There were tables and chairs but no grills. Once in the pool areas you can walk to the beach.

There was blood stains on the sheets There was bodily fluid on the bed sheets When u ask the staff to give you extra shampoos because we are four and we have only two small ones they say you have enough Daily noise from drilling beside our room continuous from 9 am to 4:00 pm The manager is not doing anything and not offering any help The hotel refuse to give you a receipt because they say you paid to Expedia not to us Staff very aggressive rude and not cooperative

A hidden gem at Myrtle Beach! I had the most relaxing time at Dayton House. This is my 4th return visit. It is my absolute favorite hotel at Myrtle. From the stunning views, to the family atmosphere, the wonderful FREE hot breakfast, the friendly staff members, the clean property , the drinks by the pool, the DJ playing fun summer songs and much more- it can't be beat!!!!! Whether you have an oceanfront room or side view/street view no room will disappoint!! It's just a superb place to be! Hanging out on my balcony and people/car watching is so fun! I never want to leave!! Thank you Dayton House Resort for such a fantastic vacation!!!
