Holiday Sands South

For the price I paid, I shouldn’t complain. Building is somewhat in need of cosmetic repair but overall very happy with my room/stay and plan to stay again in the future 🙂

The property is ran down. The inside pool area is nasty. Did not use. The outside lounge chairs are broke. The pool area did not get cleaned daily. Part of a roof of a balcony broke and fell to ground. If someone would have been setting in chair it would have hurt them. Turned into desk. They came out and nothing was done. The material was still on ground the next morning. They need to shut down and remodel the hotel.

La verdad desde que llegamos no fue buena la atencion, la Tina estaba tapada, la habitacion no olia bien. No hay servicio de limpieza, Duramos 3 noches y solo un dia nos nos llevaron toallas , el segundo dia dejaron las toallas en la cocina y la puerta abierta

Holiday sands south was ok. J Mike is clearly passionate and very present at his restaurant. The restaurant breakfast was great but they close at 2, which isn’t stated on Expedia. When we checked in, we had to leave to find food, which was very inconvenient. The pool inside the hotel had caution tape by the inside door. You must enter from outside and the other pool is drained. The lazy river advertised is actually in Holiday Sands South Beach. Their pools are all nice and functioning. Also, the doors at this hotel stay open until 11pm, but South Beach locks. The room was ok. Just basic. No usb port.

I stayed with my best friend, for a long weekend. The hotel is nothing fancy but it was clean, on the beach. We had a fridge, microwave, toaster and a coffee pot in our room. I will definitely stay there again!

It was alright

Absolutely great. Definitely rebooking next year! Affordable, accommodating, professional staff and the beach access is amazing.

It was outdated but not so bad...only 2 burners worked on the stove and could use some touch up painting but the view was awesome and I loved that💯

The room was spacious for we had an efficiency, had to get a new stove delivered to the room (pretty quick in doing so) burners were not working. The pool was amazing and the lazy river (which is in the other building) kept children busy for hours. The walk to the beach was short (it’s right there) some of the staff could use a refresher course on customer service. Aside from that I will give an overall of 4 stars

The hotel was old and did show it. The rooms were clean and staff provided towels and collected trash daily. The hotel was very affordable and had kitchen appliances.

We all got sick and I truly believe it was the smell of the room and some other liguring bacteria and we ended up at the hospital

The plate doesn’t look like they picture the stove. It was rusty bad condition fridge. It was not working. It was dripping water all over the floor. I didn’t like at all the pool. It was broken in the hotel so I had to cross to the next hotel to use the pool.

Everything was spacious and the rooms were clean. Some of the pools were closed and looked bad. Housekeeping was great they brought fresh towels and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is just older and need some updating. Good for the price.

First off, staff was super friendly. I had good contact with everyone I talked to. I had trouble sending email messages to the hotel; but upon the lengthy reply, the manager was very polite. The property boasts a lot of amenities that are either closed or not working. What was currently working and operable during my stay: two pools (one indoor one outdoor) in the 2411 building and a working indoor hot tub. In the 2501 building there was an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a lazy river, and a hot tub. During my stay, the bubbles in this hot tub was not working. Also there were maybe 4-5 tubes for the lazy river. Most were deflated. Also there was a pool completely closed in the 2411 building. The sun deck had only a few chairs on it and didn’t look like the pictures. For the price, I was very disappointed. I could have stayed at another hotel with an attached water park for the same price… I double checked. I would ask questions if your important reason for going is the amenities. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stay. I just dislike when properties advertise things that aren’t available when you show up without telling you. I probably won’t return. Great view of the ocean if you get an oceanfront room. Also the rooms are spacious. Daily fresh towels as well. The restaurant isn’t worth even walking into it because the owner is rude.

Room was clean and very spacious. Staff was nice and there when needed. Beach view was magnificent from 7th floor. They have indoor pools, kid friendly, lazy river and outdoor pools. Outdoor lounging deck on 2nd level if you didn't wanna longue on beach. Great place to stay if you're in the area.

The stay was nice. Been years since we have stayed there. Showing its age. The parking hasn’t changed. The pool area was clean and the outdoor pool was amazing. Go have fun and enjoy your stay like I did.
