North Shore Oceanfront Resort Hotel with Waterpark

My son and I stayed there for two nights. Rooms were clean and we had a balcony overlooking the ocean. Very nice. Not a bad place on a budget.

The only positive thing about this hotel is its beachfront location. The property was dirty, poorly maintained, and generally run-down. Daily housekeeping is not provided, so every time we needed clean towels, toilet paper, or other basic supplies, we had to go to the front desk. The website also advertises a fitness center, but there is no fitness center on the property. Overall, the rooms were outdated and unclean, and the hotel did not meet our expectations.

when it came to the rooms they were not as advertised and the beds were very worn out. Soon as you sat down you felt like you were sitting on the box spring. The beds also made lots of noise. When it comes to the cleanliness of the property, random trashcans in the hallway to throw away your big trash out. Roaches randomly in the hallway. In the indoor pool area. Ice machines had not been wiped down etc. the overall cleanliness of the room was pretty good no complaints there. Just wish that they didn’t false advertise on which building we would be in. Because other wise I would. Not have booked the location. The service at the front desk was very well, gave us all the information and was quick.

The room view was good, but amenities for the price was not great.

There were cockroaches everywhere. House keeping never came to take out the trash we left in the hallway from day 1. Toilet paper never got restocked. Our refrigerator didn’t work and was leaking water I told the front desk and they just raised the set point. Non of the ice machines worked at least they kept a cooler in the lobby full of ice. Front desk crew was nice, still doesn’t make up for not restocking and cleaning our room or even taking out the trash. The shower was clogged never drained.

Great resort with many amenities.

Room cleaning is only if you stay 5 days or more. No towels are brought again. It wasn’t super clean. Felt muggy especially for the price. I wouldn’t stay here again. Unless is the last option. I like the kids water park and water from restaurant.

Everything was great and perfect

A good deal for the price, great access to the beach. The property was not quite as updated as the pictures make it look, but it was still a nice stay. Don’t bother with the restaurant though because we tried the outside bar and were ignored, then went inside to get a seat which the hostess did quite quickly but then again no service staff ever showed up so we ended up going back outside to a different bar by the pool area where the service was quick and friendly.

I'll start out by saying that we definitely enjoyed ourselves staying here! The location was the best part, being right on the ocean and only about 10-15 minutes from the Boardwalk and Broadway. When we got to our room, it was evident that a thorough change-over did not happen. The floor was quite sandy/not super clean. The comforter and pillow cases looked like they had mascara on them, likely from the previous guest. The room was pretty out-dated and did not have USB plug-ins (not a big deal at all, but worth the mention to guests I think) so thankfully we brought all parts of our chargers. The only mirror is in the bathroom, so I would recommend that folks bring a mirror so others can get ready for the day, if someone is in the bathroom. Another thing to note is that it is not a full-service hotel. When we needed towels, we were told we needed to go down to the front desk and get them ourselves. Our room did not get turned over at all while we stayed either. Overall, we were happy - But if you are looking for a full-service hotel and modern or updated rooms, just know this is not that. The pool was fantastic and access to the water park was super fun! The bar/restaurant on the property was very good, too! Staff were friendly as well.

Amazing customer service! We got there super early and they were so nice letting us check in early so we could have access to the pools and the beach. They even had our room ready early as well. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, we got the beach view and loved it. Will be going back again. Again amazing customer service that will work with your needs. :)

The lazy river and the restaurant salt and lime The room was dirty, moldy, and clearly had hair all over the floor, even though it had been cleaned. We had to request sheets for one of the beds as they wouldn’t stay in place. I was given sheets and told I had to make the bed myself. The property (outside) had cockroaches although I didn’t see any inside. Had to keep asking for more toilet paper, towels bcs there were not enough for 4 of us staying for a whole week.

The air conditioning unit in our room was very old and extremely noisy, which made it difficult to rest. In addition, **our room was not cleaned at all during the entire weekend**. I specifically requested housekeeping, but no one came. The towels were not replaced, and they did not restock soap or other basic amenities. The hotel in general also felt dirty and poorly maintained.

It’s not super clean

The property amenities were nice i.e arcade, pools, restaurants, and beach access. I will give it a 8/10 the water slides are for smaller children not recommended for children over the age of 10yrs. The mini golf course was out of commission during our entire stay but we found other mini golf attractions nearby. Staff was nice and accommodating with providing information about the resort to enhance our experience. I asked for extra towels and plastic ware and was provided these items instantly upon request.
