Ocean Creek Resort

The positives were that I did feel safe, the people who stay there are nice, the grounds are well maintained, beach access is easy and the beach was very clean. I would stay at North Tower again in a heartbeat, if I had the money, but I would have been happier in a standard hotel with a decent sized pool for what I spent on the villa.

I love this resort. By far, my favorite resort to stay. Especially with kids! It's very clean, check in and out was super easy, and even though we got a lodge we were able to use the golf cart tram thing that they have most of the time.

The property is bit older but very safe.

The property at Ocean Creek was maintained beautifully with their landscaping and outside amenities, such as the pools and access to the beach. As far as the individual condo, it was nice and clean, but the owner needs to make sure the kitchen is better stocked as far as dish detergent, paper towels, hand and dish towels, and more dishes to accommodate families during their stay. These are the basic items needed when checking into a unit that provides a kitchen. I would definitely return, but would like not to have to make a trip to the Dollar Tree to get these needed items for the kitchen.

The advertising to Ocean Creek is misleading. The 1 bedroom villa we had was in need of repairs. The A/C unit woukd not get above 75°. The couch was old and worn out as well as the comforter on the bed. The room key stopped working twice and it was not near my phone. Parking is not free its $10 per night. There is a $250 deposit hold or you can pay a one time fee of $40 non refundable our room wasn't ready until 4:15 pm. Checkout is at 10:00 a.m. The TV had a very bad delay. It wasn't the greatest experience. The beach is about a 5 - 10 min. Walk. The beach area was beautiful that is the only plus. I wouldn't recommend and don't plan on ever staying here again.

Facilities were very clean and furnished nicely. Bed was little uncomfortable.

Also the bedrooms had light shining in from an exterior light we couldn’t turn off—very annoying!

Convinced to shopping/ eating Price for space , needs updating old furniture. Spell mildew

The best studio unit I've ever stayed in. If I could have this particular unit every time I came to Myrtle Beach, SC that would be perfect. It was such a magical and short walk to the beach. Everyone in the complex was friendly and helpful.

Check - in was excellent and the staff (Jeanelle) was very friendly and helpful. While the overall stay was pleasant, the cleanliness of the room did not fully meet expectations.

The location was great, the views and landscaping was amazing and one of our villas was super nice. Our 2 bedroom villa was not very well maintained or thoroughly cleaned! The couch smelled, the floors were dirty, there was hair in our tub, everything was outdated, the beds were not comfortable at all..... When booking I was under the impression that we were right on the beach but we werent.

My family and I had an amazing stay! We loved being able to walk down to the beach. The beach was beautiful. The property had many pools, including an indoor one as well. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The area had tons to do! There was no game room, it was just a work out room. We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time!

This place is amazing!! The property is huge and very peaceful! The villa was clean and spacious. It was just a short walk to the beach, which was beautiful!! Breakfast was fairly priced and really good! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The only thing I would say is to be sure to bring bottled water, because I couldn’t find any there and had to DoorDash some, but that’s on me for not planning ahead lol I highly recommend this place!!

I loved that there was multiple pools throughout the resort and the breakfast was all you can eat for $15 and it was pretty good! I loved that we were walking distance from the beach and they have a tram that gives you a ride to the beach!! It was such and easy process and the staff was very helpful and kind we will definitely be returning!
