Fairfield Inn by Marriott Myrtle Beach North

Room 1: Our carpet needed vacuuming (dog hair and pieces of paper) and we asked three times -- twice by phone and once in person when the household manager was actually at the front desk when we asked. When we checked out three days later, the carpet still had not been vacuumed. Also, the drywall on the corner wall was separating from the rubber corner guard. Room 2: Smelled like mildew/wetness the entire time. There was no availability for us to move.

Room smelled of mildew. Made me sick.

Staff was friendly enough but they must have had her there alone. Waited about 15 minutes to check in but she was very polite and apologetic.

I wanted a room with a bathtub and was given a room with a shower only. I will not go back to this motel and Expedia needs to reword their descriptions of the rooms.

1-Star bathroom. The entire hotel had 99% humidity and smelt like mildew. I couldn't check out soon enough.

The staff are really great and patient, so calm, respectful and helpful, everyone was really kind, specially the assistant manager, she is so nice and kind and caring, thank you so much for everything, the room was really clean, the breakfast was very good and delicious, the area was cleaned and neat all the time, variety of food and drinks, I wish if it was really by the ocean, I would love to spend my whole vacation there, because it was far from the beach I had to check out earlier. My kids to stay on the beach. Thank you again for everything.

Check in was very pleasant, staff was very nice, withe one exception, woman that I think might have been the maintenance person, was very unsociable, breakfast was very good, bed was a bit uncomfortable, toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall, remote for tv probably needed batteries, hallway was dirty when you get off elevators, room had a bit of a musty smell and looked like a little mold on ceiling.

The staff couldn’t have been any kinder and helpful. The place was reasonably priced and in a great location. I have a giant breed dog everyone guest and staff were super kind to my gentle giant. We’re hoping to stay here again!

Everything was nice just there going through a remodel and if you work at night and need to sleep during the day don’t stay.

Ideally located for access to Myrtle Beach area. Easy on and off the interstate. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was hot with nice choices.

Front desk staff were not friendly but got the job done. For a cheaper hotel that accommodates pets, it got the job done. The location is very desirable for my family. Pool was clean, breakfast was better than expected. Hotel did need quite a few fixes like lamps, carpet and other small details.

The pool area is nice, small but extremely cold water. Overall decent stay for the process

Breakfast was great, and the facility was nice. Our room was clean and di d nt have an odor like many beach hotels have. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows weren't very "pillowy". Had to use two smashed together to support my neck. Other than that this was an overall excellent stay.
