Tropical Seas Hotel

The main entrance has a step to go up to enter the main lobby. One side entrance has a ramp, though it is rather steep. There are two swimming pools, one hot tub, and direct access to the beach.

It was a nice beach view! There is only one elevator so there was a wait! Easy access to the beach! Clean pool, and super helpful staff!

Le personnel, et particulièrement la manager, n’était vraiment pas compréhensif ni à l’écoute. La seule personne qui s’est montrée compréhensive et agréable était une jeune fille à la réception. L’hôtel était sale dans son ensemble. Les chambres étaient vraiment dégueulasses, avec des problèmes d’humidité et de moisissure. Les chambres n’étaient pas belles, les salles de bain n’étaient pas propres et les corridors étaient également sales et mal entretenus. Pour le prix payé, je m’attendais à beaucoup mieux. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel et je ne le conseillerais à personne. La seule belle chose de cet endroit était la plage. Pour le reste, mon expérience a été très mauvaise et extrêmement décevante.

Very nice property. Pool and beach there were excellent. Parking was very easy with plenty of spaces near hotel. Perfect area on the beach too just footsteps away. Pizza place on 2nd floor was also very convenient. Loved our porch overlooking the ocean and beach. Only issues for an improvement were only one elevator in the entire building and hallway elevator is in is not air conditioned. We had a room with a kitchenette but it was pretty cramped with no real counter space and our toaster oven started smoking when we tried to use it. Other than that our stay was great and I would definitely stay there again.

Having to pay for resort fees. The hotel is really not a resort to be paying resort fees.

Aside the beach view it offers everything else is basic. Old property with old doors.

Our patio door was extremely hard to open. Needs some cleaning of the tracks. All employees that I had contact with were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will probably stay with you again next summer

Whole Building need to be upgraded decent clean room/ upgraded bathroom but the building itself need a overhaul pizza messed up my stomach immediately from the restaurant 😩 hallways need upgrading along with the hvac

Reasonably clean

Great view. Hot tub was closed most of the trip. We are not picky and are pretty adaptable so nice stay overall.

My room was very clean and smelled very good. The hallway rugs were horrible. The amenities there were none, however, the staff were very nice.

It could use lots of updating

Tropical Seas was OK. Fairly old the elevator was a very slow. The Wi-Fi needs to be upgraded as it went out several times during my stay the ocean view was beautiful and it definitely needs a less expensive more upgraded place to eat.

I've been coming back to Myrtle Beach since my Honeymoon in 1995 a lot has changed,motels that closed , restaurants no longer there.In 2014 I started coming back ,then every year after .This year we chose to stay at Tropical Seas ,First time captured Moments say a lot. Front desk attendants were ok ,not very informative ,I found myself asking were can I get the WiFi after going back down to ask ,There were 2 Young Ladies who checked me in because I Reserved 3 Rooms ,So they took turns in the computer checking me inn ,then had me looking for my Credit card , because the one young Lady had Dropped my card , Imagine me not having my Credit card! After asking for the WiFi ,the other young lady was now finishing up a customer & kindly told her Where the WiFi was ,It was so Obvious Why they were polite to that customer We had an issue with the air conditioner in one of the rooms ,it never cooled off ,but my daughter was offered another room alike . Overall ,My room was just fine ,no issues with getting Towels from Housekeeping, the place was clean .What I really loved is that the pool has easy access ,never a Crown ,no holding chairs with your Towel .The pool was cleaned daily .I would go back again , Suggestion,the front desk ladies could use some customer service skills Training .Like saying Hello or Good morning to their Guests,

I like the location I always stay here or the crown reef My only complaint was I ordered my stay online and it did not state that I would be on the first floor. I come here mainly for the view from my balcony
