Tropical Seas Hotel

The Tropical Seas hotel was alright. Definitely not the cleanest room, but it was ok. The door frame in the bathroom had smears of something, but it easily wiped clean. There was a layer of dust on most light fixtures in the room. It did have a working TV and nightstand outlets. The beds were firm and the sheets were stained with holes in them. Overall, the hotel room was average. The parking was free, so that’s nice. There’s only one slow elevator for 9 floors which is not ideal. The location to the beach was amazing! If you’re looking for an ok place to stay and don’t plan on being in the room that much, this place is ok. I personally wouldn’t want to stay here again though.

The location was nice! Easy trip to Broadway and we felt safe. The beach wasn’t overcrowded and the boardwalks and beach showers were convenient. We were always able to park without issue. We needed a budget friendly quick booking and this sufficed. I would not choose to stay again if I wasn’t in a pinch.

Room was not swept, found a few roaches in the bathroom. Hotel seemed a bit run down and news Major updates…

Would definitely stay again. Check in was quick. Staff great. Location was great! The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Probably go a little earlier in the season. Beach was pretty crowded. Damon’s restaurant is within walking distance and very delicious food.

Both pools were closed one day due to problem with chorine system.

The hotel we will be staying at again in the future. No complaints about rooms. They were dredging the beaches and the beach was closed the whole time we stayed. Bummer !!!! We should have been notified of this. And or compensated for our stay that we paid full swing highest rates of the year for. We had to drive down the coast and pay to go to the beach that was packed out. Not a good vacation. And those bulldozers ran non stop 24 hours a day the first days we were there. What happened to quite time? Rant over

It was a really nice stay!

The staff was nice. You do get what you pay for in terms of upkeep and rooms, though. Being that close to the beach was nice as well. Others may want to consider bringing additional cleaning supplies & air fresheners. Our toilet was wobbly, sliding door stuck easily, and it was a non-smoking room but it smelled like smoke immediately upon walking in. The bed was comfortable!

The front desk staff was exceptional, and helped take care of us during our stay . Our room was not only newly renovated but clean and comfortable. Thanks for the great stay!

Beachfront Old, roaches, hot in hallways and elevator, no breakfast, balcony light didn't work, no maintenance at the stay, microwave locked up with food in it, dirty tubs and toilets, horrific stay. No customer satisfaction effort to resolve issues.
