Great location near the station, temple, and lots of restaurants and shopping. We had two rooms - one was a comfortable size p, but one was very small. The onsen was very nice, and I appreciated the free laundry machines and massage chairs. One of our two rooms was uncomfortably small, and beds were very firm.

The pillows were horrible, the beds were very uncomfortable. We asked for no feather bedding so they gave us a wool blanket. Nothing else!

Its any way dormy inn . Bad service and very confusing reception people.They gave the wrong room and told you “Its fully booked,you could choose to checkout now-its 11:30 pm already”

We’re already familiar with Dormy Inn and love it—the staff are wonderful, the onsen is relaxing, the ramen is delicious, plus there are snacks in the room and welcome drinks provided. At Dormy Inn Nagano, the parking situation is a bit different. On Fridays and Saturdays, the street is closed, so guests need to park at Tokyu’s parking lot instead. Since that area is in the city center, it can be a little inconvenient to drag luggage over.

The bathroom has a shower but there is no room to hang wet towels. There is a towel bar in the sleeping srea. There is no room in the bathroom to hang a towel.

The bathroom felt sort of like an airport bathroom, not in size but finishing. The sink had brownish rust stains. It should be cleaned.

The onsen and massage chairs to use were such a wonderful perk of the location. I booked the Dormy Inn because of its great ratings on Booking.com and it didn't disappoint. As a solo female traveler it was easy to get to the location from the Nagano Train Station (just across the street and half a block away). Plus there is a 7-11 nearby. The Dormy in adds nice touches like evening ramen, being casual and able to wear the Dormy pajamas around the property, and complimentary ice cream bars at the onsen. I really loved it and now I want to stay at more Dormy Inns. The locals love it too - lots of Japanese guests there along with foreigners. Everything was great. I wish we didn't have to use the same towel in the onsen as in our room, but it seemed to be changed out daily.

The onsen and the breakfast were both unforgettable. Also, the hotel is in a prime location. It was great! We had a pleasant time there.
