In the early morning there's no staff. So when something happens, we can't contact with nobody. Always lack of glasses and cups.

Clean. Organized. Friendly. Excellent location. It’s a bunk-tel. As good as it comes.

Greta location, easy walk from train station, The family room barely has any room to walk around the bunk beds and no where to put luggage. We ended up checking out early because it was so uncomfortable with 2 adults and 3 kids. It was fairly expensive given how small the room was. We’ve stayed in japan many times but this one was the most difficult with kids. Everyone was very nice though.

Location No towels provided and you actually have to rent it at a separate cost. There is a washroom inside the female dorm which can be very noisy (i.e. hair dryer noise, shower noise etc) and the doors have no stopper so it just make a loud bang whenever people go in and out. Most guests are from the West which is also frustrating as these kind of people have no respect to quiet time and are very noisy inside the dorm and I had to report it to front desk for these "white folks" to shut up.

The location is very close to the Nagano station, which is very convenient. Even though I was a late check-in, I'm so glad I still have very clear instructions in the message that I can follow; they have a nice rest area and a bar at the counter. The mattress is firm, and the space is good enough! The female dormitory passcode key was a bit tricky. I've tried a few times to get in. I hope the light inside the bed could be a bit brighter.

Easy to get to , rooms are small and basic but good for a cheap stay The bathroom was a little dirty , hair and dirt in shower and in crevices on the toilets, have to pay for towels. Cafe is overpriced 1900 yen for beer

Very close to the station, clean, with wide bunk beds. The female dormitory has separated showers, each with its own plug and a private changing space.

We made a last minute move to stay in Nagano and Mash was both affordable and in the right location. On top of that it was well situated for our family to stay. The towel deposit wasn't ideal, but I understand it being a hostel and all. If I had planned better it wouldn't have been a note, let alone a problem.
