The room was pretty comfortable and very suitable for a short stay. The only problem is the street noise. Make sure you book a room facing the garden. Maybe they are a bit quiet.
-
establishment need enough light. its dim. hot water was not enough
-
With a room facing the road, it was very, very noisy.
-
The bathroom is too small for room 204.
-
Great option in downtown area and always friendly staff plus good restaurant.
-
During my stay, the access road was blocked. Very challenging getting in. One night I was unable to drive inside. Had to sleep elsewhere.

Customer service

Very clean, quiet. Staff very accommodating. Globe Theater roundabout, where hotel is located, is a bit tricky by foot
-
Very clean place, great location, wonderful staff, Gabriel was very courteous and helpful, even the Askari Zebron was fantastic, Thanks to Cate and the whole team Specifically, the sensor lights everywhere gave a different experience No percolator/ tea in rooms, TVs needed better connectivity as many didn't work, those that did had only one channel
-
No lift. Lots of stairs just to get to the reception. Then two flights up to get to my room. The location was difficult to get to. Lots of traffic. Uber didn't want to come.
-
Very cozy, loved the atmosphere within the building. Overall very good for the price. There's no elevator, so you need to take the stairs.

Gabriel and the other staff were extremely friendly and welcomed me despite arriving at 4AM. George picked me up from the airport and drove very carefully to the hotel. The bed was very very comfy and although it is next to a major roundabout with a lot of traffic during the day, at night I slept very well with earplugs. The breakfast was fine (but can get much cheaper & more traditional foods outside of the hotel). The front desk also kept my luggage for me after checkout until I was ready to leave later in the day. A good location to get to Westlands on foot or a short ride - very close to Moi Avenue and the National Museum. Despite busy traffic, I walked on foot near the hotel without issue. The building & my room were a bit more worn/run down then the photos provide but still a comfortable stay with good value for the price. However, the wifi did not work the whole time I was there in my room nor in the restaurant which made it very difficult to work and required me to pay more for my phone data which I was not planning on in my budget. If you need wifi to work - make sure to have a backup plan!

The attendees were super good and the place is very safe and clean I didn't like the fact that there's no shower cap or body lotion for the people that hate carrying things also the bed was loose if you try to turn it's loud
-
TV channels availability Low pressure for hot water

The hotel is pretty and the staff really kind. Great food too A central location with lot off traffic so even though we had the soundproof room, buses are louder. Maybe interesting to invest in double glazing

Rooms are small but ok.

The room was goodlooking and just like advertised in the pictures. The staff was polite and friendly. The food is good, we have enjoyed breakfest every morning. When we left it rained quite heavily. The security guard swiftly came to protect us from the rain with an umbrella when we are getting into the taxi, that is thoughtful and an example of great hospitality. As a guest you don´t forget such a friendly gesture. The shower could have been a bit more powerful and warm.

Everyone was pleasant and attentive. Staff both inside and out made my first Africa visit a memorable experience. My only “complaint” would be when asking for an authentic Kenyan breakfast turned out to be too much like an English breakfast- though the fruit portion was outstanding! Perhaps because of colonization this is now an authentic Kenyan breakfast, but I wonder what had been in the past. I liked how close the hotel was to the Tuesday Maasai Market and the city center in general. Lastly, I appreciate they have local drivers working directly from the hotel. My driver was invaluable to my positive experience. As a caveat, I want to add that I stayed in Nairobi only three nights and during the work week, and as a solo traveller. This gave me only a limited view of the possibilities of Nairobi. Can’t wait to go back and stay with Kahama Hotel! The “Kenyan” breakfast, as noted above. And though I spent little time watching the T.V., the screen did have some damage. But it was still watchable.

Nice room and comfy for 3 people. The staff are attentive and friendly. Hotel's location 's very close to city center, surrounded by many restaurants. No elevator, but the hotel have porters to help us with the luggage though.

Towels and bedsheets were old and broken, (with holes). My room had a window to a deposit and it was not possible to close the window. It was not a big deal though. Be aware is a budget hotel
