Great location, free self-serve laundry (detergent provided), and a swimming pool, gym and sauna. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We felt right at home. They even left us some delicious cookies when we checked in. The restaurant was also delightful, no need to leave the hotel and were able to get some R&R after exploring Nairobi National Park. Service is top notch! You can hear the people in the room above you. The guests that were above us during our stay happened to be rearranging furniture (or something) around 2am.

Wow! What a beautiful place! One of our best stays ever. Great, spacious suites with balconies located in a very green area, well kept. Two pools, the inside one heated. Restaurant on the premises. Great security and staff super helpful. You cannot beat the prices in their souvenir shop, not only beautiful, artsy things but prices are much lower than you find anywhere - and you are left alone to look around and choose not being harassed like in other places. We wish we stayed longer. N/a

Staff were very kind and attentive and service was top notch. The beds and rooms were very comfortable. Hotel feels cozy and is situated in a quiet area of the city. Would highly recommend the Palacina for a stay in Nairobi. Be aware that rooms right above the kitchen are prone to kitchen noise and smells, and not all rooms have air conditioning.

We stayed at the Palacina at the beginning and end of our safari holiday. The room was lovely with comfortable sitting area and balcony, fridge, microwave and kettle. Excellent choice! Great value for money. Spacious suits in excellent condition. No elevator but very helpful staff who gladly carry your bags. This is a little bit older type of hotel but high class. Calm and safe location. Very good restaurant. Last but not least, truly professional and nice staff. Nothing really.

Since we did not arrive until after 11pm, and all the restaurants in the area were closed, the gentleman who checked us in made sandwiches for us! That was so thoughtful!! Excellent customer service! I would highly recommend the Palacina!

It’s a very chill and laid back spot. It’s located in a secluded area as well. Only issue I had is that the walls are very thin.

The rooms are beautifully appointed and spacious. The bistro breakfast set up is confusing. There are no cups for drinks or plates for fruit both times I was there. I’m not sure if it was help yourself and sit down or sit down and be helped.

Stunningly beautifully designed property - lots of wood and thoughtful design and decor. Beautiful furniture. Friendly staff. Nothing. It was fantastic in every respect.

Staff very welcoming and made it feel like home. Free laundry on-site and staff offered to do ours at no cost, which was super nice. Also, the breakfast was good--not much variety but covers all the basics. We loved it. Pool was indoors with a sauna just outside the pool area--very convenient. Great security---hotel is near the state house, so overall increased safety in this area. Massages are quite expensive. I would'nt book those again, unless the convenience is needed.

Superb

This was our second stay at Palacina, for good reasons. We love how secluded the location is, as soon as you enter the property it’s serene, stylish, cosy, and a very friendly atmosphere. Food is great, kids love the swimming pool, rooms are clean and comfortable, hotel is not crowded, and staff and service is excellent. Nothing really
