Facilities were much more run down that indicated in the pictures or description. The sheets were not clean (there was a very obvious armpit smell on the edges, I ended up flipping it around bc couldn't be bothered to alert the staff) and the sheets had that weird sticky residue feeling. Room wasn't set up for a mosquito net (but I saw that most other rooms were) -- it had the hook, but no headboard but I jerry rigged something, and there were definitely mosquitos.

The only good thing was the location — a decent part of Kileleshwa. The property itself is spacious, though the way they use the space is, to put it mildly, unimpressive. Tiny rooms, old furniture, terrible food, no electricity — which meant no hot water and no internet. We couldn’t even charge our phones. The Booking app said that a baby cot for a 10-month-old was provided free of charge, but on arrival they asked us to pay 10,000 shillings for it ? We refused. The cot was still in the room by default ? and in absolutely ruined condition ? The rooms smelled strongly of marijuana. We checked out a day early. They refused to refund us. A disgusting place.

Different WiFi points all over the property. Signs posted with passwords were incorrect - you had to go find help to get the correct logins. Mattress not comfortable, but found that it was a pretty standard phenomenon throughout Kenya stays. Similar issue with towels and bedding - scratchy. Bathroom poorly lighted. Room could have used a fan.

Turns out that the cost did not include a complimentary breakfast, so I ended up not having breakfast at the property

Property is good with good green cover and is accessible. When I arrived in the morning Night receptionist was rude asking why did you come now it's 2 hrs early, Staff was unaccommodating, did not even provide water despite of asking multiple times, cleaning was done only when I requested multiple times. while leaving when I asked for receptionist to the staff the so that I can return the key, the receptionist rudely said you don't need to call me just keep the key and go.

Nothing Extremely Disappointing Experience – Do Not Stay Here! I booked a Superior Deluxe Room for two nights for my family at Sochati Casa Resort, but what we got was a basic Deluxe Room—completely different from what was advertised. The issues started the moment we checked in, and it just kept getting worse. 1. Room Downgrade & False Advertising – The room I booked was supposed to have a garden view, but the one we got had no view at all. On top of that, there was no fan, no AC, and when we requested one, they gave us a broken standing fan that was completely useless. 2. No Wi-Fi in the Middle of the City! – Imagine booking a stay in Nairobi and finding out that there is no working Wi-Fi! This is completely unacceptable, especially when internet access is a basic necessity for travelers. 3. Filthy & Unhygienic Rooms – The mattress, bedsheets, and pillows were extremely dirty, looking like they had been used for 15-20 years without replacement. We did a late check-in, expecting the room to be ready, but we were shocked to find it unprepared! 4. Disgusting Towels – The towels provided were smelly and dirty, making them completely unusable. I wouldn’t even use them to wipe the floor! 5. Overpriced for the Quality – If the owner thinks they are offering budget-friendly accommodation, they are completely mistaken. The per-night charges are way too high for the terrible condition of the rooms and lack of basic facilities. I was so disappointed that I checked out one day early despite paying for two nights—just to escape the horrible experience. Maybe the extra money I left behind can be used to fix at least one room. To the owner: Running a hospitality business isn’t just about having a building—it’s about providing basic cleanliness, maintenance, and facilities. If you can’t even offer that, then you should rethink being in this business. For families: Stay away! If you care about hygiene, comfort, and even the basics like Wi-Fi, this place is a nightmare.

Large, comfy room in a hotel with a large, shady garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Had a delicious tilapia for dinner, after the first four choices on the menu were not available. Staff needs some hospitality training. Music in the dining area was so loud I needed to don earplugs. In the end, I had to take my dinner in the garden, where the sound was bearable. Most items on the menu for dinner were not available.

Room Interior was average. The neighbours Ruby have warm and fantastic ambience.
