I was genuinely shocked by how good this hotel is for the price. It offers exceptional value for money. The location is excellent, the facilities are very well maintained, and our room was fantastic. We were given what felt like a penthouse suite, with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was perfect for traveling with my two daughters. Everyone had their own space, making our stay extremely comfortable. The beds deserve a special mention—they were among the most comfortable I’ve slept in during my trip, and I had an excellent night’s sleep. The breakfast was also outstanding, with a great selection and very good quality. I honestly have nothing negative to say about the hotel. If you’re not specifically looking for a large international hotel chain, don’t hesitate to stay at La Maison Royale. You won’t regret it. The combination of comfort, quality, location, and price is simply outstanding. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nairobi. Nothing to comment

Good breakfast and good mattress 1 hour before ending the breakfast the receptionist call to ask if we were going, and I was sleeping. I've not to call me and at the next day they called again. Rooms very cold and no heating system

The staff were extremely accommodating and the breakfast was really good.

The bed was soft and very comfortable. The Internet was excellent. The property was very dated but still comfortable.

I extended my stay at great rates. Great receptionist. Clubs nearby. No issue with electricity amd hot water

On arrival we had a delay getting our room, but the manager upgraded us and apologized. From then onward we had a great stay. Very comfortable and well equipped room, excellent buffet breakfast and the staff were wonderful. Very friendly and professional. I have stayed here many times and its my preferred base when I come to Nairobi.

I like breakfast and showers. Very safe place, and no noise. I was studying for an exam and found it very respectful. N.A

Location was okay. Staff were friendly. If you love brown water in the bathroom, dirty linens stained brown, a sagging bed, non-functional internet, broken tv, non-responsive staff, deserted and dark hallways, then this is the place for you! The staff (who were nice, but not responsive) assured me the water was perfectly find to bathe in, just not to drink. Among other things, the internet was not able to load a simple web page, which I needed for work. The bed was sagging about 6-8 inches in the middle, and had dirty, heavily stained sheets. I left the first night for another hotel, after the staff assured me I would receive a refund. The refund has yet to happen, despite numerous emails, messages through Booking.com, and phone calls. Instead, I have received several canned responses from the manager, Moses, saying how honored they were to host me and asking for my feedback. This hotel does not deserve your business.

Clean. Good deal for the price. Soft clean towels. Great breakfast. Some of the rooms have very tight bathrooms. Lights are too dim to work.

Super helpful staff, very good breakfast, good location.

The location is certainly excellent, in Westlands. The bed was also rather comfortable, i slept wuite well (bu that could also have been the result of a long flight...). This hotel needs a major overhaul. It's old and not well maintained. Wherever you look, you can't avoid noticing the need for repairs and maintenance. The pictures promised more than reality could deliver. It was just ok for one night, but it was certainly not a hotel you would be looking forward to. Breakfast was ok, you could see they really tried.

Location, facilities were great!! The food is 24 hours which shows good options, but it was decent. Drinks are quite expensive there.

NA The staff! We arrived very late at night, very tired and the receptionist was very rude. She was affirming that my reservation was cancelled after I proceed with full payment for 3 nights. I work with tourism and I came to Nairobi for business. This hotel is a non-option for my company and costumers.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my entire stay, and the breakfast provided was excellent. I had a very frustrating stay here. I couldn't get a good night's sleep due to a mosquito issue in my room. To make matters worse, whenever it rained, water dripped heavily onto the metal entrance canopy below. The loud, repetitive pinging sound reached all the way up to my 4th-floor room and felt like torture after a while. Finally, the room lacked basic upkeep; for example, the glass bathroom door would barely slide because the metal track was rusted. I would not stay here again.
