Quiet, comfortable BNB! We loved the close location to downtown. Great communication via text messaging!

Lovely property - very charming, inside and out. very good location. Enjoyed the happy hour and breakfasts.

Great stay

Check in not available after 7p. Filled out form on check-in no customer service. Phone number in book wrong for front desk. Unable to change breakfast time day of to get early start on the day. Constant texting even though they know your preferences to ask are you coming to breakfast or wine tasting. Felt like I was being monitored the entire trip. The room was not cleaned. Bed was not made due to a banana being left on it the owner stating it was a personal item. Asked for soap was never given I got it on my own. Literally only new towels given. Asked for gluten free the last day food upset us and my husband had a hair on his. Was our honeymoon stop. By the end I blocked my phone and asked them to text my husband if they needed anything felt harassed.

Exceptional

The rooms are impeccably designed and spotless, right down to the heavy, tailored blackout curtains. The location is truly superb. We walked to downtown Napa and watched cars circling endlessly for parking on a hot afternoon and we were so glad we were on foot. Across the board, the staff operates like a well-oiled machine, and the evening wine and cheese hour was a highlight, featuring a gorgeous charcuterie spread. A few minor drawbacks to keep in mind: Shower: The water pressure is quite low, so adjust your expectations if a powerful shower is high on your priority list. Pillows: The sleeping pillows are high quality, but very firm. Definitely skip the pillow fight, and back-sleepers might find them a bit unforgiving! Breakfast: It’s adequate, but simple. Dishes come pre-plated on ceramic tableware wrapped in plastic, likely because the Inn doesn't have an on-site kitchen. If a robust, freshly cooked breakfast is a major part of your stay, you might want to factor that into your decision. Overall, it’s a lovely spot, and we really enjoyed our time here!

Very cute property and rooms. The happy hour was a nice touch, had some fun conversations with other guests from all over the The hot breakfasts are a great idea, but anything with eggs was nearly inedible due to the texture (and I like eggs). Not sure if they use powdered eggs, or just don’t know how to cook them. America’s test kitchen has great recipes for scrambled eggs, frittatas, etc that work well at scale. This was the only negative whatsoever. Still a delightful place and excellent value.

Wonderful place to stay. Just about 4 blocks from downtown. Friendly staff, great breakfast every morning. This is an old house but very well maintained.

Breakfast was plated, plastic wrapped, and labeled with room numbers. Very mediocre.

Very nice facilities. Original room selection (petite?) was a bit small so we upgraded on site to a larger room. Not having a full time person. Very hard bed pillows.

The location was wonderful. The Inn was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfasts were not up to the standards of the rest of the Inn. Every morning was a different egg dish--quiche, egg sandwich, scrambled eggs. More variety would have been appreciated. The prepared plate covered in plastic was odd. Not at all up to the elegant standards of the building itself. Also, there really wasn't a host at the Inn. Yes, there was a person at the desk, but they were not informative beyond the rules of the Inn and didn't encourage us to use them at all as guides to the area, even for basic questions. The desk was almost always empty. Also, the daily communication about room cleaning and meals was disorganized. We got an email clearly not meant for our room; it was confusing. Again, the Inn seemed to be managed behind the scenes (and not all that well). That part of the Inn felt corporate rather than personal. A disappointment.

Great visit! Nice breakfasts

The location and rooms itself was very good, comfy room. Just don't eat the breakfast. Breakfast was awful. Cold, not tasty options for the amount we paid. Who wants Salmon Quiche for breakfast? That was one of the breakfasts. And usually things breakfast was overdone. We paid a lot for a B&B, but it lacked with breakfast. It had good reviews but I should have looked harder- other reviews echoed mine. The staff was non existent, you rarely saw them.
