Cove Inn on Naples Bay

The views were absolutely beautiful! The property also offers a great variety of rental options, including bikes, beach chairs, and umbrellas, which made it convenient to enjoy everything the area has to offer. We really wish we had known before booking that the bar next to the pool is now for private use only. Being unable to order drinks or food while enjoying the pool was extremely disappointing, especially since access to that type of poolside service was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. We were also surprised by the $50-per-night incidental hold on our card. For a 7-night stay, that would mean $350 being held on the card. While we understand that an incidental hold is temporary, that seems excessive and is something we feel guests should be clearly informed about before booking. Overall, we feel these are important details that should be disclosed upfront so guests can make an informed decision about whether this hotel is right for them.

The unit we stood in was privately owned. Not sure if they are all this way. Doesn't make a difference for us. Their is a restaurant and bars on-site and

I spent the summer at the Cove Inn, in 1972. We had some family friends(Bernie and Rita Turner who started Walden University at the Cove Inn) staying there for the summer, so we hung out with their kids at the pool and had a blast. I had never actually stayed there before until now. I had not been in their pool in 54 years! Had to take a dip for old times sake yesterday. My grandmother's boat used to be at their dock in the back, until it sunk around 1974. I had lots of great memories there and we will be back! The condo we stayed in was nice with a great view of the marina and Naples Bay.

Lovely looking hotel, overlooking a beautiful marina. Nice sized balcony to be able to enjoy the views. Two free bottles of water provided each day. Had a quick shower and then the bathroom flooded which wasn’t ideal.

What a wonderful hotel - the reception team were so warm and friendly we felt at home immediately. The room was beautiful with a great and spacious balcony overlooking the harbour. Sadly we were only visiting for one night as we would have loved to stay longer.

Nice clean comfortable room, staff helpful and gave recommendations on where to eat etc. Bathroom quite small.

Breakfast was very good however, the location could be improved.

Called in a couple of days before I was to arrive as we were coming from a different accommodation in the town. I asked if we could check in at 12 noon. The gentleman at check in stated that wouldn't be a problem as the room we were getting was unoccupied. On arriving 12 noon on 1st August the girl on the desk was super efficient and said we could not get in until 2pm. I made her aware of my previous conversation but that fell on deaf ears. I also noticed that the tikki bar was out off bounds for hotel guests as there was a licence problem. Needless to say we cancelled our booking and went elsewhere. Extremely disappointed.

The poolside bar is not available to hotel guests. If this is not corrected soon, please take it off the website and take it out of the hotel directory in the room. There should be a ceiling fan on the balcony outside the room and on the porch outside the main building.
