NAP Hostel Spaccanapoli

Great staff and an excellent hostel. I was unlucky because the air conditioner in my room was blowing directly on my bed, and because of that, I was freezing at night and couldn't fall asleep for a long time. I had bad luck with my neighbors, who made noise at all hours of the day and night and, worst of all, didn't clean up after themselves in the shower.

The vibe—super social but not a party hostel, and small enough that you really do feel like a family. The happy hour is great. Don’t think I’ve ever made friends more quickly at a hostel! Shower doors were made of frosted glass, which was a bit of an odd touch

Hygiene could be better, but it’s all up to standard.

Nice layout of the dorm, makes it feel very spacious. Staff are all very helpful and nice!

Location of hostel is great and centralized to main historic center. However space is little compact of bed placed in 7 bed dorm. Also at times AC gets switch off, need to request to make it on. They don’t change bed linen very often and on checking they confirmed that it gets changed after check out only even if guest staying for even 4-5 or many days , seems strange. Overall it’s fine stay.

Bathrooms need a renovation, too small and would recommend to clean more often there. Breakfast could be much better.

I really liked that the staff was always so kind. Also, the place was clean. The only bad thing is the hill that I needed to climb to arrive the hostel. It was very hard with my heavy luggage. Female only dorm was good.

There are single beds that are very comfortable, not bunked. The room are big, The breakfast was really beyond my best expectations. Paula, the receptionist, was very kind and helpful. The location is very good

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a hang out room and a kitchen that was open 8AM-11PM. The bathrooms were clean. The breakfast was mainly savory stuff, and not just a lot of sugar. The location is right near a lot places to eat and shop. Getting in was easy, and a wristband entry system was better than keys. They called me a cab the morning I left. The only real issues were messy guests and sleeping in a room with people who snored. People have a tendency to go to bed early as well, but that is not the fault of the hostel.

The breakfast was excellent, even with a home-made panacotta. I wasn't able to have breakfast last morning due to early departure, so the administrators provided some snacks for me in advance when I asked. Also, they gave me a lighter blanket that I needed. It's clean everywhere. The hostel has a nice yard where you can have breakfast or just chill. The location is very good, next to the market street, where you can see locals buying everything from bread to seeds for seedlings. It looks touristic, though. It's close to the seaport where the airport shuttle and ferries to different islands, including the picturesque Procida, stop. Paula is the best hostel administrator. Her help is much appreciated. Like everybody before said, there are no A/C and the windows for most rooms are located on the noisy street. There's nothing to breathe if you close the window. I would like to have a duvet cover and some shelves in the shower. Also, they don't provide towels for free, and the door to the toilet is not convenient.

Check-in is only from 14:00, even though my room was ready and I spent the night alone there. On the other hand, check-out is at 10:30, during which time they come to change the bedding. By the way, the blankets are very light, summer type, not suitable for winter.
