Great location to visit Nara and it surroundings, walking distance from all of the major temples, restaurants, as well as train station(s). We upgraded our room and received very rare experience in Japan - very large room, strongly recommended. -
-
Clean and close to everything. Big rooms
-
The hotel was great and the check in process (there is no staff) was very easy thanks to the clear instructions we were sent.
-
Great location. Absolutely perfect.
-
Location and the quick access to the inner city for eating etc and the closeness to the deer park and temples! It’s really in the middle! The check out time at 10am with a big reminder about being fined if you leave late! Very unnecessary in my humble opinion! Maybe the word Please leave the room before 10am as we would like to prepare the room for further guests!

Location was the best to an artsy neighborhood, the UNESCO sites and close to Nara Park.
-
The property was in a fantastic location, short walk from the train station and Nara Park. The room itself was spacious and very clean. Nothing
-
The location was perfect and the contactless entry was nice. We got there early and contacted them via the visitor center around the corner. They said they just finished cleaning our room so we were able to check in early and drop our bags off before visiting Nara. The shower was also very nice.

Convenient location.all the scenic spots can be reached on foot. Nothing
-
Taking a bath is hard because they have a small boiler that runs out of hot water before filling the tub, apparently. But that didn't bother me as I just took quick hot showers, japanese style :)
-
location was great. hood size room with no extra furnitute for seating.

Great location, clean and spacious facilities. Self service, but easy to manage!

Location is hard to beat. Very central. Quite clean. Affordable. It's called a hotel but it's really not. There are no staff, nowhere to leave bags if you arrive early and no one to help with anything if you need it and though Japan is super safe, if you were travelling alone it could feel creepy and isolated. It's more like an airbnb. There's not enough hot water to run a bath. Limited facilities in the room.
-
almost nothing, felt scammed Terrible experience. The photos are a scam—cheap wallpaper everywhere trying to look fancy. The room is unbearably bright with zero proper curtains, and the constant noise from the avenue makes it impossible to rest. On top of that, they threaten to charge 3,000 yen if you don’t leave by 10 AM. Avoid this place at all costs!

Excellent location. Room was spacious. Bed was very uncomfortable. Part of the problem was the size which is a bit small for average sized Europeans (I’m 6’ and my wife 5’7”) but we also found the mattress poor. Sound insulation between rooms and to the outside isn’t great.
