MIROKU NARA by THE SHARE HOTELS

The staff was not particularly helpful or warm. Given the price point, I would’ve expected a bit more on that front.

Clean, price and location The room in basement should be highlighted

We only stayed one night in Nara, but the MIROKU fit exactly what we were looking for. It is right on the park, the room was small but comfortable and clean, and the morning breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Make sure you send them a message to ensure availability of the Japanese set. Eating breakfast on the lovely outdoor porch with a view of the deer and the park was a great start to a day exploring. I and my family really loved the location and the overall feel of the hotel. Definitely one of the best hotels I've been to not just in Japan but of all the hotels I've been to. Will definitely be back here. I'd stay there for a very long time if time permits. The only gripe I have is they don't have a ramp going up to the lobby--just stairs--so we literally had to carry our heavy luggages up the stairs and it was not easy. But the staff helped us so it was a plus too. But then again, checking out, we had to carry everything down the stairs ourselves and it was a pain.

Location is peaceful. Close to Nara park and nearby sights. Great value for money. We enjoyed the family room with loft.

I love this hotel. It just has great energy. The staff were so nice. We stayed in the Mountain View room for 4 and although we were nervous about having 4 of us altogether in one room, (we usually try to get at least 2 rooms), the place was so comfortable and light and airy, it didn’t matter. Everyone has a place to put their bag and we LOVED watching the deer gather on the hill at dusk. We could just sit at the window and watch them all day. The room also would have had an amazing view of the pagoda but it was under construction so it was covered which was SO sad for me. But the deer made up for it. It was also convenient to everything! Not a thing. Loved it.

Excellent stay and great Japanese breakfast!

Great design, room was comfortable, location right by the nara park and close to a beautiful pond. The bathroom was always a bit smelly, they have to think about how to dry it better. Also from the room we stayed in we could hear the front door every time it was opened, so that was a bit of a discomfort. We were also disappointed that breakfast was sold out. They should let everyone know that you need to reserve breakfast.

Excellent location and dining ambiance Basement level was a novel experience but a bit dark.

Location was perfect, walking distance to all the major sites and train station. The rooms were incredibly clean and modern. Staff were super helpful and the mountain views were great. I would 100% stay here again.

The location with looks toward the mountains and the dears weren’t so nice. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable beds!!! The breakfast was very nice, but they only serve one menu: western or Japanese which you choose since you make your reservation. So you have no options.

Great location next to deer park and temple complex and small shops as well as lake No complaints. Great. Starbucks on the lake nearby for breakfast

Great location and view from our room. Clean and zen vibe. Helpful and friendly staff. No parking. Had to pay 2500 yen per day for parking. The western breakfast was very good. The Japanese breakfast was not. We stayed at the share hotel in Kanazawa and the Japanese breakfast was much better. No welcome drink like offered in Kanazawa. Limited laundry.

Sound insulation to outside is not good, I got woken up in the morning by cries of deer. Not enough lighting for the toilet area.
