Property seemed run down, rooms were plain and little character. We interacted with 3 front desk employees. Only the last person we dealt with was pleasant or inviting. Overall an ok stay but after walking around town, realized there were multiple better options to stay.

I love staying at Brown County Inn. It is so clean everywhere, the bathroom, the bedroom, and the premises. The location is perfect also, right near the town area with all the cute little shops. In the eeing, we enjoyed the bar area and listened to fantastic musicians singing 60s, 70s, 80s music.

This was a great and convenient location to stay. The room was nice enough, but it did have a smell to it even though it appeared to be clean overall. The room had sliding doors that opened up to the courtyard. The attached restaurant was really good, but it fills up fast so allow for the needed time to enjoy it. The breakfast buffet was super good with great service. The pool is very nice and under cover. There was a shuttle that took me to the music center which was a great perk and was unexpected. The inn is very organized in their check-in and check-out processes. I would definitely stay again.

I do not like that they make you pay when you book so far ahead, there is no way to adjust your trip if something comes up (I planned this trip 5 months in advance.) We did enjoy our stay and all of the amenities. Our slider door led to the courtyard where there was a tether ball area, mini golf, and bags games (my kids are too old for the playground) There was a paved trail close as well that we took advantage of. Pool was large and the set up was nice. Restaurant was okay, nothing food wise stood out so just convenient since it is right there. This place does show its age a bit, but you can tell it is well-loved. I would stay again and enjoy Nashville/Brown County State Park area more, it is a beautiful area.

I had such a great time. Oh and restaurant food was absolutely fantastic, so good we are breakfast and dinner there for the 4 days we were there.

Place was nice and clean. Otherwise nothing special.

There is no free breakfest or an elevator. But this is still the most beautiful hotel. Its a gorgeous spot with so many fun things to do for kids at the hotel including sandcastle, pool, playground, shuffle board, the trolley, and more in addition to its close proximity to a tourist town. The staff are always kind. Amy is the best. The rooms are always clean. The beds are super comfy!

There was so much to do during our stay, and it’s clear the property has been thoughtfully updated—despite being an older hotel, it felt fresh and new; the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we’re already planning another trip to bring our adult children and grandchildren along. Not one thing

Very convenient location. There is a walkway that enables you to walk to downtown without battling traffic if you want to walk.
-
Clean room and child friendly environment. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Great location and breakfast buffet was good and a good value. For an older hotel you can see that things are clean and well maintained. Nice farmers market on sunday.

Location and it has everything you need, pool, bar, music, restaurant, shuttle… It’s a little sleepy. Had a musty smell

My breakfast was good, but a little cold. Waitress was excellent. We had the pool to ourselves at one point. We like the plants surrounding the pool. The upkeep of the grounds is excellent. Beautiful plants! The room smelled musty when we first got there. Would have been nice to have an elevator instead of carrying everything up the stairs. Also would be great to have a fridge and microwave.

We enjoyed our stay at The Brown County Inn. The accommodations were very nice. The room was very clean and updated. Had dinner at the restaurant and was very good. There was a farmer's market on Sunday in the parking lot. The hotel clerk was very helpful with things to see and do around Nashville. Must visit the Hard Truth Distillery! It was fantastic. The only negative was the mattress in our room. It wasn't the greatest and seemed a bit worn out. Other than that it was a great stay. would definitely stay again.

Always a wonderful time when we stay here. The amenities are top notch. Food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast buffet were delicious.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Shuttle was late, we waited almost an hour so instead of being early, we almost missed the show because it had just started. Need better coordination with shuttle companies. Also, we nearly froze to death waiting for the return bus. The four seasons passengers did not have that issue. Better you take your own car and drop off handicapped attendees.
