Courtyard by Marriott Nashville Green Hills

Always experience a great welcome when we check in.

Great location to Belmont University. Staff is friendly and the hotel is attractive. My breakfast burrito was great too! However I had a poor experience here which they tried to turn around. When I arrived at the hotel with my 19 year old daughter at 1 AM with loads of luggage on a Lyft ride I was told that they over sold the hotel and that they didn't have a room for us. Mind you this is after I already paid for the room. They did arrange a new room at the Hyatt next door, but I needed to arrange a new Lyft ride with all my things. When I got to the Hyatt, they could not accommodate me with 2 queen beds which is what I had planned originally. The next day I moved back to the Marriott and that evening after a full day of moving my daughter into college in 100 degree heat I was looking forward to a nice shower. Unfortunately, the water in my shower was not working and I was not able to take a shower. They fixed it later the next day,

This hotel needs a facelift in and out. But my biggest gripe is that they never informed us of the $35 a day parking fee which is ridiculous because they have their own parking garage. I asked for it back but so far crickets. Wouldnt stay here again.

We reserved a king with a sofa bed. We arrived at 11 at night and they gave us a handicap room with a king and said it had a sofa. We went up and it did not. They could not do anything to help so we had to find somewhere for our daughter to stay not at the hotel. The next day we said we needed to be moved. We were busy but they said we had to come back by a certain time for that to happen which was very inconvenient. We got our room switched and asked to be compensated but received nothing at all. We won’t return there and asked Marriott members that was a very disheartening experience.

The hotel and the room itself were fine. We were however NOT told that parking was extra until after we checked out and called about an unexpected charge. If we would have been informed about the cost of parking we likely would have stayed somewhere else or at least parked somewhere else. There were a couple other minor issues that I would’ve ignored if the parking situation hadn’t occurred. The ice bucket leaked, half the light bulbs were out, and the toilet didn’t fill with enough water so it would spit sewer water out of the bowl when flushed unless you shut the lid. Pretty gross.

Nice hotel. Service was very hit or miss though. Put in 3 requests to front desk before getting any response. Also cleaning service was supposed to be every other day but it didn't come on day they were supposed to.

Enjoyed our stay at clean, quiet hotel with friendly staff, secure parking, and dining. Would happily stay there again.

Great location. Quiet street and walkable to the mall. Free street parking.

The shower head leaked loudly, the bedding smelled bad, the hand-held shower head sprayed water out ot the side of its hose, across the bathroom, the housekeeping staff failed to the check the level of the shower soap so there were two pumps left. When I checked out, the desk person could not be bothered to say one word to me.

Clean. Helpful staff. Close to lots of good things! Walkable.

Cleanliness

The lobby is impressive I didn't like that there was a charge to park on the premises so we parked on the street which worked out for the 2 nights we stayed. There was plenty parking spaces on the street. Breakfast is not included neither is complimentary tea.

Checking in was a breeze. The gentleman at the front desk was informative, kind and most helpful. The staff was helpful also. The facility was clean and well maintained.

Check-in was easy & convenient. The staff was wonderful, helpful, professional & welcoming. The property was quiet, rooms are clean & location is good.

The fridge did not work on the room but everything else was wonderful.

The location was in a good area of town. Felt safe.

They were very helpful. Couldn't get dinner when it opened due to cook hadn't showed up. I walked next door to etc to eat. I had an issue with the kids in the room beside me. Called the front desk and they took care of it

Great location by the Mall at Green Hills. Staff very friendly and rooms clean.

Hotel was fine, clean. Room comfortable. Quiet. One main problem was the quality of the food at the bistro. Had dinner there and it was bad. The burger I took was very poor my prepared. Meat and break were overcooked, no condiments. This place must do something about the food. Does not match the quality of the room. Location is not great. Not much around of interest.
