This hotel exceeded my expectations. It had everything you could think of, very clean, spacious, small kitchen and even a washer/dryer. The hotel was within walking distance to the train/bus station and downtown. Staff was very friendly and approachable. Highly recommended!

The room was spacious We booked a room for 4 people and one of the two air conditioners was broken, so the room stayed hot and uncomfortable the entire stay. On top of that, there was a strong unpleasant smell in the room that made it very hard to be there.
-
Very very clean and convenient with great rooms ( nice layout and amenities including W/D) right next to train station. Fabulous! Liked everything - nothing bad
-
Great to have kitchen and washer/dryer. Big rooms. Great location right by the railway station. Easy access to tourist streets and castle grounds etc. really great place. Grocery store just down the road by the Starbucks so bought steak and salad to cook Not a thing to complain about
-
The perfect location for our Takayama stay. It is right next to the train station and an easy walk from everything in to
-
The room is big like Japanese residence, even having Kitchen! Also they have free Onsen(just need to walk 10 mins to another sister hotel) My time here is too short

Location The room wasn't clean enough. Some leftover garbage in the room. There is leakage on the floor under the sink in the bathroom.
-
The rooms are very big and have a lot to offer - such as a kitchen, laundry machine and etc. Which was very comfy. Keep in mind that the hotel limits the usage time of hot water for showers per day. Usually between one hour to 40 minutes....

The room is quite old. Bed and pillow don’t feel comfy.

The free bath ticket to Wat Hotel was great

The rooms were nice, staff was helpful, The hallways had water stained carpets and the lights were turned off in the morning. The place is 90 minutes away from town and the last bus leaves at 4:30pm Stained carpets , dark, We decided to leave early they did not refund us the money

Excellent location near the station and main bus terminal. This is our third stay. The rooms are spacious and basic - no frills. 1. The big washer/dryer 3hr40min cycle doesn’t dry adequately and there is no separate dry cycle. Luckily we washed two days before leaving which gave time for damp clothes to dry. 2. There is no AC in the sink, toilet, bath area so it’s always hot. 3. Some front desk staff does not speak much English. 4. Cooktop didn’t work initially. Staff was called to fix. All appliances should be in working order.

Could use additional pillows.

Location is very convenient and room is nice Staffs were rude and unhelpful and lack of compassion. My son was sick and he vomited at the room and front desk person just came to our room at 10pm demanding us pay the hotel 30k yen for dirtying the duvet. I understand where this is coming from but lack of compassion definitely made our experience bad
