Overall I had no complaints about my stay at Rea Hotel. The gentleman working at the hotel was a very nice man and the facilities were very clean and proper and the hotel was a short walk from the town square and the beach. My only complaint was the wifi. The wifi was so terrible that I had to go to a local coffee shop to use the internet during my entire stay at the hotel. For the money I spent to stay at this hotel I should have been able to use the wifi so I would not go back. The hotel was very clean and in a good location. The gentleman working at the hotel was very nice.

I thought the hotel was lovely and the owner was really sweet! He showed me everything in the room such as how to close my doors to the balcony, where the bus stop was to get town, and also the local supermarket (which has a huge variety of items). Room size was good, and there was a freezer fridge for me to keep drinks and even a tub of ice cream (from the supermarket of course!) Had aircon, a variety of lights for brighter lighting or dimmer lighting in the evening, and a little dressing table to get ready at. Staff were lovely, I only saw one other person who did the cleaning each day and she was friendly and polite and helpful when I got confused on which way to turn the key to lock the door (thank you again!) Its around a 15 minute walk to the main town and port, which was totally fine for me during my stay, however if like me you had a suitcase when arriving in Naxos and it's hot, get the bus to the hotel otherwise you'll be sweating ? For me, the best bit was how close to the beach the hotel is. It works out as a 8 to 10 minute walk, and I adored this especially in the evenings and nights when I could sit on the sand without lots of people and just enjoy the summer evenings. Also, if you don't fancy the trip to town, or to the beach, there's the Cine Naxos which is an open air cinema. They play the movies usually in English with Greek subtitles and it was amazing to see a movie under actual stars. Next door was a fab Gyros place that I did visit three times simply because it tasted so good. FYI if you are wanting to take the bus into town/ to the port, the bus stop is outside the 'Κεντρικό Super Market ΚΟΥΤΕΛΙΕΡΗΣ' (opposite Cine Naxos). You need a ticket to get on the bus which cannot be purchased on the bus, you need to go to the bakery down the road called 'Rendez-Vous Bakery Ραντεβού' to buy the ticket ? When I stayed there was a family with a young child, as well as a group of friends, both who were louder later in the evening and would come and go out of the hotel a lot, and the sounds would echo so you'd hear it. Thankfully I was out most of the time but the last night I was there it was a bit annoying.

Comfortable beds, spacious room and adequate little balcony. Great place fore the money. Thin walls, so a bit noisy from other guests.

We were greeted by the sweetest man when we came to check in, he was very helpful and welcoming, even gave us his phone number and told us to call him at any time day or night if we ever needed help. The hotel was very clean, good location and reasonably priced.

Good location to get into main town Room was a bit dirty, electricity also didn’t work one morning for a while which was frustrating

Great location and very close to old town! We have everything we needed!

These are 1970's rooms with dirty toilets and leaking plumbing. The owners not at all kind, I called several times at noon to give me the key and no one answered and it was 40 degrees Celsius outside. I can't think of any reason anyone would stay in these rooms.

The location is perfect! Just a few minutes from the local beach and also from the old town. The owner, Mr Fanis was great! There was a Supermarket 2 min down the street with everything you needed for the day. Across the street from the Supermarket was Tony's rent a car, where we met great people which rented us a nice Fiat 500 cabrio for touring the island! We also got a discount because we stayed at Hotel Rea. N/A
