Tantan Cappadocia House

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. A short walk into town where you can shop and find quaint restaurants. A great relaxing atmosphere at the hotel. Amazing view of the hot air balloons from the terrace. The Turkish Hamam was a real treat.

The location was great! Just a quick 7 min walk from the center and the staff was super helpful. Bedroom was comfortable and clean and the property’s hamam is fantastic as well. We got recommended tours to do and Emre was a great host through all the time we spent, always helping when we asked. Breakfast was also a highlight as it was always a homemade delicious food. Overall we had a very good time there.

I was a little reluctant to book at first, because there weren't very many reviews. I usually don't book unless there's a minimum of 100 reviews. However, the reviews that were there were very good... so I took a chance. I was not disappointed! I get the feeling this place is either a new build or a place that has been newly renovated, which is why there's so few reviews. Honestly, it's a beautiful place to stay. The room I got was the King with Spa Bath. There were rocking chairs in the room, it was very spacious, the bed was big and comfy, and there were even rose petals on the bed!! Though I was travelling alone, I still appreciated the gesture. Unfortunately, I was incredibly tired after a long 10 days of travelling by that point, so I just went straight to bed even though it was like 5pm (I had a time difference). This was a pity, as I believe there is a good hammam/spa on site I could have paid extra to use. Seeing the hot air balloons rise the next morning at dawn was possible from the room itself - not only that, but also possible from the actual spa bath. A beautiful experience. Honestly, everything was great. However, to give some constructive feedback: There was a knock on my door at around 8pm which woke me up. I'm not sure why. I suspect it was staff wanting to know if maybe I wanted dinner, or to watch the sunset on the roof or something like that. But I had told them I needed sleep because I was tired, so I was kind of annoyed that they woke me up only 2 or 3 hours later. I found it very hard to get back to sleep after that. Please just be aware that people have paid to sleep and some people sleep at "weird" times when travelling due to jet lag. An solution might be to include "Do Not Disturb" signs for guests to hang on their doors. The spa bath was AMAZING. It would be amazing to get photos in the bath in the morning while looking out at the hot air balloons rising. Bubbles would look great, so it might be an option to include bubble bath for guests! There was a bath liquid in the room, but it didn't bubble up at all. Just a suggestion!

We stayed for 2 nights in hotel. The service was exceptional. Emre, the main person the hotel was very helpful. He helped us for all the bookings and prices with his recommendation was very cheap compared to other ones. The 90 minutes spa is something every person should try once. Super service all together. Rooms looks exactly as in the picture.

Perfect Emre Bey's interest and relevance were excellent, we thank you for everything, a very knowledgeable person about the region, if we come to Cappadocia again, I will stay at this hotel again.
