Motel 6 New Cumberland, PA - Harrisburg - Hershey South

Very, very dirty. The floor in my room was really sticky. Bed sheets were inside out and had hair on them, as if staff just turned them inside out for the next guest. Hot water fluctuated from hot to cold in the morning, so I had to be careful not to get burned. The room was relatively newer looking which was nice but the cleanliness was terrible. Oh! and someone nearby started lighted fire crackers off from about 2am-2:30am. so that was fun...

Room was available when we arrive late at night. Side of the building stairway look very dilapidated.

Good place to lay your head for the night, get up and shower the next morning, and head out to where you're going.

Quiet, clean and comfortable Shower knobs are incorrect and hard to control. Hot is cold and cold is hot. And shower doors don't close properly.

The property in general is filthy. Cigarette butts all over. Floors in rooms never mopped.my Black socks can vouch for that. No English speaking employees, remnants of blood stains on the mattress cover, we were disgusted and demanded a room change. The office is in a bullet proof concave.

There was 2 cockroach’s one in the bathroom the other one was from one of the beds.

It is a Motel 6. Not quiet. Cigarette burns on the bedding. Lots of people up and around into the wee hours.

The hardwood floors were clean. The wood furniture was worn. The bed covering was stained. The two pillows were marginal. The closed pool outside was definitely unusable and had a ragged covering. Exterior was drab also. This particular hotel/motel had all the earmarks of a franchise establishment w/o care, rather than owned directly by the corporation. The only thing positive was its location and price, but even with that being known, I would stay elsewhere.
