Great value and location

Price seems good until you add the mandatory $50 a night for valet (no other parking) and a $50 pet fee...which tbh the pet fee-ok...but valet charge and tips add up fast. There was trash under our bed, and a used towel in our bed UNDER THE MADE UP BLANKETS. The place smells like weed and cigarettes as well. If the price would have actually been $125 i wouldn't complain at all...tho the room cleanliness was definitely not up to par...but all considered..I wish I had known upfront so ...here ya go

Very nice!!

The Blake Hotel is a very nice property. It’s centrally located to downtown and the French Quarter. The rooms are way more nice than I expected. But the thing that ruined it all was that when I got to the room, there were no towels at all. Went to take a shower and noticed there was no shower curtain. How could this possibly happen on a property so nice. The next day I told the manager and she apologized and asked did I ever get a shower curtain. WHAT!!! No mame I did not

I always stay here it’s in a great location with a park next door the street car stops is directly at the front door. The staff is always friendly and helpful I will definitely continue to stay here

Sleep in a different room it flooded it was the worst one day

Great location, spacious room, great price It’s an older hotel so something are outdated for instance the lamps beside don’t have the updated charger post but that’s not to be of a deal. The shower didn’t work properly like the hot water didn’t get hot but we didn’t report it to front desk. Oh they policy also doesn’t allow late check outs on Sundays or wknds period didn’t know that. The smell of when u walk in smells old and it’s very humid in lobby. However, the room didn’t smell and the sc worked great in the room

We weren’t expecting the most out of this trip by all means, but we weren’t expecting the worst, when walking directly into the hotel we were greeted by the worst smell of urine in the lobby area, not a great first impression by all means. The rooms definitely need some upgrading you can tell it’s 2000’s elegance, the high ceilings were nice and surprising to us we had a balcony room! The beds were nice and the showers were hot. The area it’s in is PERFECT 10 min walking distance from hotspots of the city! Parking was rough due to not doing valet (parking garages everywhere around the hotel) My honest opinion… if you need a place to stay for the night this is it! If you care for the modern stay find else where, just don’t let the urine smell in the lobby turn you away from getting rest, the rooms are clean as well as hall ways!

Disappointing
-
They only have one problem with the parking lot
-
I was told I could leave my vehicle in front of the Hotel for an additional 1 1/2 hours after I checked out. When I returned within that time period, only to find a hefty parking ticket on my windshield.

Great location rite in front of the street car stop with a park next door. The staff was friendly shoutout to the guy at the front desk didn’t catch his name but he recommend a local food spot and made sure I was very well accommodated.

The hall ways smelled of smoke. The room way fine, but the bed cover had a stain on it. The air conditioning was so loud it was hard to sleep.
