Newly renovated rooms , very clean and new ! A/C works great ! Great location

The room was clean and bar and restaurant staff were great. The valet and parking was not ideal. Also several floors were under construction which made the lobby non existent.

The only issue we experienced was that the battery to our room door died, which meant we had trouble getting into our room. Thankfully, the staff addressed the situation and helped us get it resolved. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider staying at this Hilton again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Hilton Hotel on St. Charles in New Orleans is undergoing construction. I arrived on Sunday night, August 16th. The receptionist did not provide any information other than handing us the keys and room number. The next morning, I went down to the lobby and there was no longer a lobby. It was boarded up and I was told that the hotel was undergoing construction for at least the next month. I wasn’t planning to leave until Saturday, August 22nd. I was traveling with my sister who is disabled due to spinal damage as a cancer survivor. It would have been difficult for me to move her and all of her equipment and our luggage because we had settled in on Sunday night thinking the hotel would look the same when we woke up. It became overwhelmed with construction workers dust and a dry wall fort to a path outside. I wasn’t planning told the lobby was now on the second floor with a couple of tables for desks. There was no fitness room or vending machines at that time. The construction noise started on Monday morning the 17th and was with us throughout our stay. On the second day my sister took a s shower but both faucets would only or I’d coming water and it nearly burnt her badly. There was no cold water. I complained and end Wednesday we were told we would receive a 10% refund on our stay. But that really wasn’t adequate on my opinion since we were never told prior about the construction or the night before when we check in in. Consider this if planning to book in future!

I didn’t like anything about the property because I never got to see it, I called all night trying let the fro t desk know that I was still coming so they wouldn’t cancel my reservation and they never answer the phone.

This hotel was extremely clean and the staff was helpful.

I only have two comments. 1- I did like that the light in the bathroom would always turn off during our shower. I’m guessing the sensor is not sensing when you are in the shower. 2-Monday morning went check out at the front desk, the young lady working wasn’t rude but very as a matter of a fact, didn’t say thanks, didn’t ask how my stay was, nothing… I felt like I was putting her out by asking to check out. Oh and the elevator needs work.

The evening crew got the ball rolling Next I FEEL SCAMMED BECAUSE WHEN YOU CHECK IN THEY GIVE YOU A CARD WITH TOURS WITH A DISCOUNT AVAILABLE BUT WHAT THEY DONT MENTION IS THAT YOULL BE CHARGED $25 EVERY DAY FOR THAT CARD AND THEY CALL IT AN URBAN DESTINATION FEE FOR SOMETHING I NEVER ASKED FOR OR USED PEOPLE BEWARE I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN....

The room and hotel overall was a very nice stay. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the location was ideal. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because in one of our rooms the ac wasn’t working and the staff didn’t help in anyway to make the stay more comfortable. They said the system was down so they couldn’t give us a new room. Had it not been for that incident the hotel would’ve gotten my 5 stars. Great other than the ac and the staff not helping with the issue.
