Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Downtown (French Qtr Area)

Staff was amazing very helpful with hotel needs or tourist needs, valet was fast, literally a 5 minute walk to bourbon I’d stay again

I love the distance to bourbon and canal street! I didn’t like in front of the hotel it was a lot of homeless people hanging out there! Just felt unsafe to go out after dark and I didn’t go out either! Loved the breakfast and the hotel was beautiful on the inside and the staff was very friendly!

Had a great stay here. Rooms are clean and very spacious. We had plenty of room for 3 adults. Big tv and comfy couch to relax on. Nice to have a fridge and microwave to hand as well. Breakfast was ok. Enough to get you started but pretty standard for hotels. Close to everything so very convenient for a couple of days doing touristy things.

The staff were accommodating and informative about the city's eating. and entertainment locations. The room was clean. We enjoyed our sisterhood vacation to your fabulous city. Morning breakfast selections were great as well. Keep up the great job!

Be wholly prepared to pay a security deposit on arrival. Also be prepared to be charged even extra and lose your security deposit due to smoking whether or not you smoke. We were charged for smoking while we weren't even in the room. This isn't negative

Good stay….. A lot in walking distance, didn’t move my car for the entire weekend but they do charge $52 for parking per night that’s not mention

The manager provided very poor customer service. He was not helpful and did nothing to assist us with our situation. We are very disappointed with how this was handled. We will never stay at a Hampton Inn again.

Bed kinda sucked but room was great overall

I self-parked in the garage to the southwest of the hotel for $30--as opposed to the $52 of valet. Unreserved spots are high up. But be warned: they close up the entrance at night. It was closed as early as 8 PM.

We stayed here for five days and had a very pleasant experience overall. The property was relatively clean, and the room included convenient amenities such as a microwave, refrigerator, and hairdryer, which made our stay more comfortable. The staff was always friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever we needed anything. Housekeeping came every other day, and they did a great job keeping the room clean and stocked. The location also had shops nearby, which was convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with good value for the price. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars and would consider staying here again.
