For the most part everything was great except the pool was not working, we had to walk three blocks to use the pool at their sister property. It would have been nice ahead of time that the pool was not functional. Also rooms are small and no refrigerator in the room.

The room was clean. The staff was nice but due to the codes and this being in the historic area, there is no elevator. If you are younger and travel light, this is no issue. I am older and pulled my heavy suitcase up the stairs. They really need to have a helpful bell man in these cases.

I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. The hotel was extremely clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the entire property had such a charming, comfortable atmosphere. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The ice machine and pool were unavailable during my stay, which was a little disappointing, but neither issue took away from my overall experience. The excellent service, cleanliness, comfort, and location still made this an easy five-star stay for me.

Air conditioning worked great and we were there in August. Only hiccup is ice machine was out of order for the last 2 days of stay and people above us were constantly walking around in the middle of the night and you could really hear it. Staff was great and it was within walking distance of a lot of good places.

AT the time of my stay they were having issues with the pool and there was no fridge in the room. The staff was extremely nice about storing our food and make accommodations for our needs.

Loud, dirty rooms. No parking, no pool, no ice maker. Outdated furniture. No security, people walked into our room multiple times, without knocking, disregarding the do not disturb memo. Argumentative and condescending staff. Slow check-in process including multiple keys to digitally download. You will get nickel and dimed here as well, and they will remind you multiple times about the additional cost of screwing up.

There is no breakfast there. Was not informed that the pool was unusable

-
Room was very hot first night but a new room was provided the second night

And IF you don’t mind being woke up by the cleaning staff yelling outside of the courtyard to eachother every morning!! If you want modern convenience this is not the place for you!!

Secure (passkey entry and exit through reception) area and room was spacious, clean and very quiet. We slept well and were not disturbed during the night which is rare at hotels these days. All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great - close to attractions in the French quarter and close walk to Mississippi and rampart for trolleys. Nothing

Everything else was 100% on point. Cleaning staff was wonderful but the best part, by a long shot, was the front desk staff, especially Elaine! What a wonderful hostess. Helpful but not overbearing. Very hospitable and so funny. Great experience. I will definitely come back to.The Chateau, hopefully pool will be working by then!

Could’ve been better . The pool was a disgusting lime green the entire time we were there so we couldn’t swim . The room didn’t have anything useful like a mini fridge or microwave. No access to balconies . Overall I’d give the stay a 5/10
