Andrew Jackson Hotel, a French Quarter Inns Hotel

Very unique stay, staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. Leroy was amazing, gave us a little history about the property and the hauntings. Needs a little update, a/c could’ve been colder, but all in all this place has character. Will definitely stay here again.

The building is olc but full of character and it's minutes from all the shops you'll want to che k out. Very very quiet too.

The AC worked in the rooms, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and wonderful over all. The ice machine worked (and with how hot it was that was very important to us), shower/bathtub was nice but due to the heat the water never got cold when on the cold setting. The bed we had sank in towards the center of the bed so that took a night to get used to but thankfully did not hurt our backs. I would reccomend bringing a fan with you in the hot months as not all the rooms have fans in them and the stanget air in the summer time can leave you damp when sleeping. It's in the perfect location for easy access to everything you will need in the quarter and will defiantly stay again if the opportunity comes up.

Great beautiful and haunted Room was small but it was still good

The property is perfect walking distance to everything in the French Quarter, they have valet but the cheapest way to park is in a lot outside the quarter but they have a space to park to drop off/pick up your luggage which makes it easy. The only problem was we didn't see a ghost!

Loved it didn't see a ghost but a cat jumped out of nowhere when I was smoking in the courtyard around midnight

The location was perfect! When you walk in all you can smell is weed. Our door didn't seal shut, there was a large gap all the way around the door when it was shut. The stairs getting to the balcony that our room was on were dirty, the balcony was leaning and felt soft. The room itself was kinda clean, except for the roaches!!!! The TV came on but had no Internet. There was no one at the desk to help us either. We ended up calling about the roaches and the room not being cool at all and got the sister hotel St. Pierre... I will not recommend Andrew Jackson and will NEVER book there again! But I will definitely book St. Pierre the sister hotel was one million percent better!!!

Staff wasn’t always available except through text sent upon booking. Multiple upper rooms were above 80 degrees due to the heat index and AC couldn’t keep up. Had to move rooms, but staff was very accommodating. Very cool place, very clean.

The location was nice It wasn’t very clean. There was no coffee maker or microwave. It’s really old and needs maintenance and a good cleaning

The hotel was fine. The room code didn't work and it took awhile for someone fro a sister hotel to arruve and open it with a key. It was a problem, but not formidable. Unable to locate an ice dispenser.

The hotels location is great. The bed is not very comfortable. The A/C is sub par and did not cool the room enough, maintenance said it was cooling. The rooms are very small with an awkward layout. The furniture used does fit the room. There are no amenities at this hotel so that got 1 star because I can’t put 0. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Parking is off site. Staff (Leroy) was good. Hotel was ok. They do run ghost tours though at night.

It was a good stay overall, the extra daily charge for parking is a rip off, great location though, the guy at the desk was very helpful, only complaint would have is that it took over 30 minutes for valet to get my car to me.

Convenient location, but room was cramped and couldn't get TV to work.
